Casey Studdard and Fred Bennett should some really positive things form those videos......actually i think they should real well here.....studdard should fit in perfectly as it seemed it was easy for him to get to the 2nd level of defenders and thats something that the texans need......plsu bennet shows playmaker ability.....i like how he is confident when he decides to jump the routes instead of hesitant.....very nice and well done DUNTA 23...thank you for the videos

Studdard was straight up mauling people.

no doubt. You could see a lot of that nastiness he plays with. He gave an extra shove or two after the play a few times and it looked like he was talking smack on that last play. I like this guy a lot.

I reallyu can't wait to see our defense this year with a healthy Mario along with a year of development and a legitimate pass rushing defensive tackle (well hopefully) next to him. The last half of the season last year, our defense was improved drastically. This year we could actually have a defense that can hold the opposing team under 30 and give us a shot at winning.

With a great defensive line, not only will sacks come, but pressuring the quarterback will lead to mistakes, namely turnovers. Our defense last year was interception deprived, so hopefully that changes this year.

It all starts up front, and I'm glad that this draft we focused on both the lines.

I agree 100% , we need to win the battle at the line. When we start winning that battle we suddenly look like alot better team. I believe our DB will look better because they want be as concerned with the run and the time receivers have will be limited. As soon as this team gel's I believe we will have some fun cheering on this team.

Hopefully the Line help (both offensive and defensive) materializes. There were a couple of offensive linemen drafted later in the draft, guys with supposed potential; let's just hope that they turn into productive Texans during thier tenure here.
And I'm hoping that the rookie defensive backs can add much needed depth.
Plus, the wide receiver can contribute on both special teams and as a 2nd or 3rd receiver. And this way, maybe the entire return game isn't just on the back of Mathis. Like last year, where nobody could step in.
Even though last year's draft looked very good; the previous drafts under Capers were horrible. Few if any of the guys they drafted panned out. I'm glad there is a new regime in town.

We pretty much just treaded water at best until last draft. An amaizing amount of mistakes were made in the first 4 years. Almost an Enron level of incompetence.
