View Full Version : Where do you see our Record after the 1st 4 Games?
I see us going 3-1 with our lone loss going to Indy (They haven't forgotten who was the last team to beat them). What does everyone else thing?

Before I say what I want to say about our record I will take my heart out of my answer.
I say 2-2. As a team on the rise I feel we may deal with some consistency issues. I believe we will win this week and we could either trip up on Carolina or Atlanta. Of course there is Indy but we have proven to ourselves that we can beat them.
In my heart I say 3-1. That would be our best start ever.

I say 2-2 and thats being honest.
Im glad we beat the colts but they just held The saints running attack to a really low number. I know Ahman green is an upgrade but their rush defense looked very good at swarming to the ball. I don't think we beat them at home to be honest. Im still kind of nervous about playing carolina because early on they have the best defensive line in football. They fizle out at the halfway point but the first few weeks Carolinas D carries that team, I fear our O line is really going to get worked in that game.
I think we beat atlanta and KC

guess what though guys indy was at home last night...thats a huge boost for these guys....we will be at home and that should help....i say 4-0 still
Yea but fakes were moving the D all over the place our corner backs better play the game of their lives because I watched Jason David last night and all i could see was demarcus faggins everytime.

3 and 1, this is my realistic belief.
We need to sneek a road win as underdogs, and at carolina will be the one to get. We'll be favorites at atl, cleve, oak, ten.

You mean when we were worse and they were better?
Why would that even be a consideration?--the prediction should be on the state of the teams now. The line on that one is going to be small one way or the other depending on the outcomes of the first week.

I am just saying honestly after 4 weeks I see us as a .500 team. I think we lose to the panthers because that defense is really good. I think a lot of people are writing them off, just like the 4-0 people are writing off the colts.

Who says you guys are favorites against the Titans, oh wait this is the Texans board, with that said, i think you guys will be 2-2, but the Carolina game could go either way? You guys have it good the first four games. I wish the Titans schedule was as easy in the first four games. Our easiest will be our bye week?! The Chefs are the first team in history without an offense and the Falcons, well the emotions would've died down by then, but i dn't think you'll beat them 31-7...31-10!! Carolina is a team that's always being talked about being SB contenders, but there's always an excuse. I'd hate it if they beat ya'll giving Carr room to boast for a season at least? Good Luck with it though!!

Huh... We must have been watching different games. Every time I watched and expected to see Jason David on the screen, he wasn't. He spent way too much tim eon camera last night with his hands on his hips.
Reggie Wayne must have felt very lonely last night.
3-1, we beat Indy but let down against Carolina.

yea but the linebackers were frozen Jason David was frozen they were running almost every play off that running back delay handoff. releasing addai out of the backfield a few seconds into the play to hold the DBs up and freezing the LB

3-1. I think that Carolina's been overrated every year since their SB run, and I see no difference this year. I think we caught Indy by surprise last year, but that they'll definitely show up ready to play this year.

We will be 2-2.
If you look at the schedule we will float around .500 ball until the end of the year when we play the Browns, Titans, Bucs, and Broncos. I believe that stretch of games will put us over the top to a 10-6 season.

If we just play good solid football we beat KC and Atlanta.
Carolina will play Carr since he knows how to beat us... sack festival and we take that one.
To beat Indy, our D-Line will have to beat up on their new LT, and Matt will have to play good ball control football. Could happen, but I think we have to wait to the second game with them for a win.
3 and 1
I hope I am wrong but I think 2/2 is right.

3-1 sounds about right but i think there are a couple of games we are going to win after that. like the dolphins and miami. 5-1 to start the season. lets take it one game at a time thought.
cant wait untill sunday. since i live on the west coast i prbably wont get to watch it but at least i can listen to it on the radio. and the game starts at 10 am for me. wwwwwwwooooooooooo hhooooooooo go TEXANS!!!!!

Everyone needs to slow down about the panthers game, for one, Carr won't be playing so that means no gauranteed win there, and for 2, we should wait till after this weekends game (which I'll have to miss because of work :scowl: )
before we start ranting about how much we'll skin the panthers.

2-2. We'll beat Kansas City, but we'll lose to Indianapolis. I'd like to win both games against Carolina & Atlanta, but we'll lose one of those. We have a young team & we'd win both at the end of the year, but we'll have a couple of disappointing outings this year. I'm expecting this team to finish very strong as we get better later in the year.

I will be honest. I believe that the Chiefs have no earthly idea what they are in for tomorrow. I think they will underestimate the capability and improvement of the Texans during this offseason.
I expect our offense to explode for 400+ yards against the Chiefs, and for the Texans to win by about 20 points.

As far as the record goes:
1. Chiefs - Texans win - opening game in our stadium for this new Texans team. This one is a gimme for the Texans. I can't believe that the line only favors us by 3, but it implies that very few people have paid attention to the Texans in the offseason.
2. Carolina - Texans win - in my opinion, this game will depend on which version of Jake Delhomme shows up. If he is on his game, they have the weapons to make it close. But the Panthers O-line is weak. So I predict another Texans win.
3. Colts - Texans win - the heavily favored Colts will come back to reliant and, once again, Kubiak & Co. will have a plan to keep Manning on the sidelines for 3/4 of the game thru a Schaub engineered ball-control offense. This one will come down to our secondary and pass rush vs. Manning.
4. Atlanta - Texans win. Schaub homecoming. Altlanta fans seen sobbing exiting the game.
