First drive of team history and we march down and score on the Cowgirls. HELL YEA!!! That clip brought back many memories and very few of them are good. But that was definitely a good one.

I remember that drive so well! I remember being so excited when we scored that touchdown, when we got the safety and won the game. My voice was gone for almost 3 days afterwards. What's crazy is that watching it again after all these years it wasn't the first touchdown ever or the memory of winning the game but how alive and loud the crowd was that gave me the chills and a smile on my face.

your so right if you were in that stadium that day you know. i just so happen to be on te 25 yard line on the same side as billy miller scoring that touchdown the stadium was electified and i know at that point we were going to when the game and i have been a die hard fan ever since a couple bad drafts will not change me i am a true houston texans fan. i love my tem i will not let a couple bad seasons change my faith. go houston i am counting on you this year so when i say my tem is the texans proplr wont laugh in my face. truth is they an laugh in my face all they want cause i am sure there team is just the flavor of the month. not me i have on team and i stick with them. I am here for the bad time and the even worse than that time. so dont just jump on the bandwagon when we start kicking *** this season cause you wont get any respect from me. reporting from san diego CA home of the beloved charger this is marshall whitley a houston texan fan for life. love you houston!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

apparently you haven't read any of the previous posts...it shows the texans executing perfectly, shows our first drive ever ENDING IN A TD. The only down side of the whole thing is that Carr never panned out for us. So if you even have to ask that question, i got 1 for you... are you sure you're a texans fan?

been here same as you, but haven't posted much since the new forum wiped my post count. my post count doesn't equal my status as a texans fan

i'll admit it i haven't been very active on this forum..all i was saying is everyone else seemed to get the same experience from the clip except you...i just don't kno how you can not be happy to see our first mark in the nfl (and a positive mark at that). i'm not looking to start anything, we are all texans fans here

Well I know I have been a fan since its conception. I never knew the Texans even had a message board because the Oilers never did have one that I knew of anyway. I was an Oiler fan since the day they got Lucky as QB.

Mixed emotions for me. That's the day I sank my faith into the Texans. I knew football was back to stay and I could be proud again. On the other hand that's the game that sold me on Carr. I bought it hook line and sinker. What can I say.....I was vulnerable :o

hey I'm posting this on this thread because it's the right title and I don't want to waste it on another media thread......sorry if it's got its own thread or been mentioned in another

I just caught the tail end of NFL matchup. They were talking Atlanta Falcons and right before the break Sal Paolantonio brought up Matt Schaub as a guy that's looks very good. Jaworski commented on his ability to get the ball out as soon as his back foot hits the ground, and Hodge brought up Owen Daniels as an "explosive" player.

They didn't show any clips but we got some love on what I consider a very respectable show (they break down the film). The next step in respectability will be seeing Jaws break down Schaub's game film.
