Not really considering it's less than 12 hours away.. Hell, we have threads older than that, that have replies weeks before replies so what's wrong with this? Unless of course you had a certain sticky in it's place :)
when you make a game thread too early the start of the game ends up being buried on like page 5 or 7 or whatever....One of you guys need to start a game thread a couple of hours before the game to avoid alot of time killing posts at the start of the thread.

Man if the season doesn't start in like 4hrs Im gonna kill someone!! One thing about getting so worked up for 1 game is the complete deflation if they lose. I am making a vow to myself not to get down on the Texans no matter how many games they lose. Im pretty sure on the Rams SB run they lost quite a few coming out of the gate. I feel like I'm gonna pee my pants. Do it Texans, do it. Show the Nation you deserve to be in the spotlight. But never lose your class.

I want us to be the best team in the NFL, but with every player playing and talking like a team. No showboating, no premadonnas, every give credit to each other. Would be a first in the NFL for a long time.
