We here in Nebraska just love A. Green and here is one of the reasons why. Ahman attended a USTAF track meet this weekend in Omaha. My 2 children were competing. At one point during the meet he had about 20 kids ages 8-13 yrs. basically "harrassing him" asking for autograph after autograph after autograph. One autograph per child was not enough for these kids. They wanted their arms signed, T-shirts signed, medals signed any scrap piece of paper they could find signed....and the list goes on. He signed anything for these kids as many times as they wanted without a complaint. He even posed for pictures with them. I kept expecting for him to walk away and go hide somewhere, but he stayed put joking around with the kids. He made their days, and their parents to. No one can be a perfect role model, but any player at this level who can tolerate what he did Saturday comes pretty close.
