Key things you will be watching for in game 1

In these last couple of anxious hours before game time I got curious what everyone will be watching for.

Personally, I am hoping for Ball Control from the offense, Mario getting pressure, and the secondary holding their own, and decent run stoppage against a good back.

I am watching for Offense. I want to see consistency from QB, blocking from OL, and single coverage on AJ.

running the foot ball effectively in the first quarter. converting on third downs. not forcing the ball into coverage. we get the running game going, it will be a long day for the chiefs. if the running game is effective, then the bootleg will be there for us all day. chiefs struggle with defending the bootleg.

Dline pressure and run D, LB corp, and Schaub

The front four on defense is the biggest key. They need to play like they did against Dallas.

Jacoby in punt returns.

And Schaub on the big stage. I expect a lot more of a run game and playaction in this game.

If you actually expecting good play from the SECONDARY, you're dreaming.

Pressure up front will make up for the secondary weakness. Other than that, I want to see Schaub play like he did during preseason.

If he does that, we'll win no matter what the defense does.

I am hoping for some consistent pressure from the DL, good run coverage, and a solid game from Schaub. Oh and of course a Texans victory!
