best quote

"Bush is very over-rated.

They force him down our throats with all of his commercials (even locally, A-1) with hopes he can be what Lebron is to the NBA. But Lebron is GREAT and Bush still has POTENTIAL. Maybe Houston knew something we didn't."

My favorite post was "Maybe Houston knew something we didn't"

And then the other posters berate and chastise him for doubting the God Child, Bush. I can see that poor little poster shrinking away from his computer as he sees his fellow fans rip him up due to him daring to question the almighty and omnipotent Bush.

LOL.

Oh what a day this has been.

Standing outside with my mouth open wide......If all the raindrops were lemon drops and gum drops, oh what a day this would be...

That's for all you Barney fans out there.

The bandwagon is rollin so slow over there it's easy to jump off and land on their feet. Saints fans, or atleast 60% of them, are giving the big 10-4.

Texans fans wouldn't do that though.

Some poster on another thread

Just heard Bobby H on the point after and his comments about Reggie are right on in IMO. He said Reggie should quit making high profile commercials with Peyton Manning until he can back it up on the field. His not the "play maker" everybody thought he was.http://www.saintsreport.com/forums/showthread.php?t=43642

Bobby Hebert. Used to be a QB for the Saints in the late eighties to mid nineties. I remember him when I was a kid.

However, never under estimate the power of hype.........

ONE breakout game against a weak opponent and he will be a GOD again

*sigh*

Well, the Saints don't play any particularly weak teams until December, so it will be a while before we have to deal with it.

Oh and something I noticed today was that Payton was trying to get a TD for Bush, so he gave him two tries from the 1 yard line to pound it into the endzone and he got stuffed for no gain on both plays. It's a shame so much of America has bought the hype on this guy.

It's like anything in this world. Expectation can blind a person.

Don't the Saints play the Tacks next week? That would be a good week for Reggie and the Saints to show up.

They do play each other, but I think the Tacks will win that one. They have a good rush offense and a good rush defense. Passing is not the Saints forte since they don't have any decent receivers outside of Colston. Tennessee will run all over New Orleans and Bush will have another lackluster game.

Bush shouldn't even be playing right now...all those yards he has gained...he dosen't deserve to play

wow...thats a hard one....who do you cheer for?? the aints have reggie who we all want to fail so that everyone can see that he is overhyped and OVER RATED....and then we have the tacks...a division foe....hmm...thats a hard choice there....guess cheer for the saints except for the reggie and hope they hold him to nothing??

That's what I am doing, but when I look at the game from an objective perspective and throw away my bias against Bush and Young, it just seems obvious that the Tacks will win this one. It sucks too because I always hate when a division rival gets a win.

on NFLN the NFL gameday show deion sanders and the other two analyists said "this season is proving that reggie bush is not the every down back they want him to be. he is the desert, a flashy play maker and can not be effective every play"

i teared up a lil

Man it sure is nice that the "Draft Blunder" we made last year is looking like a stroke of genius this year. I wanted Bush to be here, but when we picked MW I backed it 100%. Thank God some of us fans could not sway the powers that be. Nov. 18th is going to be fun when Reggie Bust comes here and gets shut down again. Wonder what the BSPN talking heads will do to build this matchup as ?

I believe the Titans will run all over the Saints too ... momentum and confidence are taking hold for Vince.
Bush, to me, has the strangest body language around. He comes across like he thinks he is bigger than the game itself. Guess the media has done that to him.
Good luck with the ego trip and the crash that seems to be coming ....

Only good thing about the Saints, they have a super MB at Saints Report. :)
