If its Faggins we lose or will struggle the whole way through. I don't know about the other guys but if any team watches our 2nd.... I mean we could match up Dunta on Harrison but what about all the teams that have more than one very good reciever...such as the Colts?

Everything else will be on fire but ouch...that position scares tha bejeebies out of me.

If our pash rush is aggressive and consistent at the right times, that will matter less. So w/that said i don't think it necessarily comes down to just that.

Dude Faggins did really well, but it was Steve Smith look at the KC game he did a solid performance. He is no Dunta but he is a solid corner able to stop Harrison in my opinion.

I still believe Jamar Fletcher should atleast be given a chance to start.

uhhh...who played cb #2 for KC? I didn't know so that says alot right there, and after I checked, I think the colts have a far better #2 than that.

They really should be giving Bennett more of a chance to start or even play, because he is very good...

Yeah... Faggins worries me...
The Colts have ( 2 ) Good WRs.

For the Off.-- could be a really good day to RUN the ball......

in the colts 2 reciever set.
i'd put Dunta on Harrison man-on-man.

Fletcher and Hutchins would double Wayne in a zone.

CC Brown would play centerfield and help out on either side.

Stick Greenwood or Danny Clark on Dallas Clark and go with a disguised 6 man blitz at times other times a four man blitz dropping the other LB's in coverage.

the colts 3 reciever set is where some match up problems for the Texans and almost any NFL team exist.

when they drop there fb and go to a 3 reciever set. i might bring clark off the field and rush in Faggins.

dunta on harrison in man.
fletcher and hutchins double wayne.
faggins on man coverage on anthony gonazalez.
brown playing centerfield to help out.

would need pressure from the d-line to rush manning.
i'd have demeco spy on addai. and greenwood cover clark or blitz.

Indy will probably do everything they can to ensure Harrison is 1-on-1 with Faggins, much like Carolina did with Steve Smith.

Bennett vs. Gonzales? Rookie vs. Rookie. Should be interesting.

I like that matchup, but I also know who wins that battle...

Kubiak just said that Bennett tweaked a hammy early in the game and wasn't available much against the Panthers.

all I have to see about that is "Who has the most touchdowns, Bush or Mario?" or I could do "Who has the most wins this season?"

i think its ok the way we have it...petey gives up the big play once in a while but he also, through the course of the year is going to make a lot of big plays for us.

Faggins gets a bad rap, He got beat by the best Wr in the league and one of those plays was a fluke and the ball bounced off of him and landed in steve smiths hands. Steve smith makes lots of cornerbacks look stupid.

Faggins played the CB2 last year when we beat the Colts at home. Of course they torched us for some passing yards, but that is expected. It all depends on Manning and what our pass rush can accomplish. I felt that Manning was a little off that game however.

Essentially the offensive line is the same the only changes will be at WR (Johnson) and RB (Green). Carr spread it around last game and AJ had 4 catches for under 50 yards, so essentially he was a non-factor. This is going to be a very interesting game for this squad because if they can overcome an injury to their biggest star, then they can play lights out from here on out. I am ordering Super Fan now **** it!

You raise a valid point, however I like Faggins. He's a leader and the guys on defense like him. That's enough for me.

I take a more positive approach here. Signing Demps and Boulware made our secondary a lot better. Hopefully this will offset Faggin's *slight* lack of talent at cb2.

Don't be too critical, after all he was asked to cover Steve Smith man up. That can't be easy and Smith roasts even the best corner backs.

One positive note is that it doesn't come down to the secondary for us to beat the Colt's. We beat them by keeping Manning on the sidelines and pressuring him when he is on the field.
This will most definitely be the key. We know that we don't have near enough secondary power to keep Clark, Wayne and Harrison at bay. We cannot allow Peyton to just sit back there and hope the secondary holds up. We are going to need to pressure him early and often to get him out of rhythm. Our offense will do the rest.
