First of all, our D line has been awesome. Mario, Amobi and the rest of the guys have really come through. Demeco and Greenwood have led a really nice LB corp and our defense really looks top-notch this year( a 2 sack game by mario followed by a 2 sack game for amobi)! Our secondary really needs some help (someone find a safety please, and please god we've had enough faggins) but D-Rob has been total lights out. In his two games so far, he has completely shut down his man and made some HUGE hits( 6 tackles). He has two INT's in just two games, and has been a huge difference maker. I was thinking today about what our d would look like without him, and he is essential to the success of this team. After switching Dunta to Steve Smith, smith was basically a non-factor (besides that one play where like 5 of ours guys didn't wrap him up, not d-rob's fault). Just thought Dunta deserves a mlot of credit. Here's to Dunta, your texan's very own lockdown corner, who plays the run, jams wideouts, and lays the wood. You the man D-Rob, keep it up, and continue to improve as you are!
GO TEXANS!!! 2-0 BABY

Yes, I agree completely. Smith basically disappeared when Dunta was put on him. Now that's impressive.

Only thing that concerns me is this week- who's Dunta going to cover? You could make a case for either Harrison or Wayne, and in either case you're probably going to be burnt anyway (the other corner's going to be burnt, I mean, not Dunta).

Texans CBs play halves of the field, so there's a good chance Petey could be on Harrison for a couple of series. If I was Richard Smith I'd make SURE #23 was on #88.

I never really understood the 'halves of the field' thing. I mean..how hard is it to break the huddle and go wherever Marvin Harrison is???

I think Richard Smith saw the glaring flaw in that plan this past game. After the second Steve Smith TD, didn't they change to man-on-man instead of halves, with Dunta covering Smith all the time? (At least that's what I heard happened)

Some fans wanted him gone because he threw Dunta under the bus. Where are they now?

No, Dunta is so good that he can literally throw himself under a bus and be a better player because of it.

Dunta is officially a SHUT DOWN CORNER, just ask Steve Smith.
