Texans 500-1 to win AFC. 1000-1 to win superbowl

I was just on my sports betting website and I happened to look at the futures bets. I saw the Texans were 500-1 to win the AFC. I thought what the hell, look what the Saints did last yet. All it takes is getting to the play-offs and anything can happen. We already beaten the Colts before. We played them tough last week with a ton of injuries. I figured am I really going to miss my $10.00? so I bet $10.00 to win $500.00

Then I got more brave and said, if we can make it to the superbowl, why the hell not win it against a weaker NFC? The odds are Texans 1000-1. I bet bet $10.00 to $1000.00

Uhhh.....500-1 and you put 10 on it...it gets you 5 grand not 500...you would get 500 if you put 1 dollar on it....same goes for your superbowl...1000-1 and you put 10 on it...would get you 10 grand...
