I don't know why so many people are picking against the Texans this week. But Kirwan likes the Texans. Good short analysis.

Yeah but also remember what made Crumpler so dangerous, Vick scrambling. See when Vick would scramble, Crumpler would just find a hole to sit in and Vick would find him. Most of the time, Crumpler was Vick's first option. Well now Crumpler doesn't have that versatile running QB back there so DB are not peeling off of him like they did when Vick would get loose. Harrington doesn't use Crumpler the way Vick did, thus the reason you are not hearing his name as often this year....

Crump is on pace to have 832 yards this season. He had 780 in 2006 and 877 in 2005. They year we went to the NFC title game, he had 774.

He is on pace to have 5 TDs this season. He had 8 in 2006 and 5 in 2005. He had 6 the year we went to the NFC title game...2004.

Seems he is right on his normal pace......even with the knee injury.

Why do you keep referring to the NFC title game??? I hope your not planning on a return this season

I've said it before, I'll say it again. Houston wins this one because of attitude.

Matt will be motivated.
The team likes him and will be extra motivated.
Add Killing's visit to the locker room as even more of a boost.
The experts are saying Matt has lost ALL of his targets when he has only lost some of his targets. Davis, Walter, Daniels, Putzier are not exactly chopped liver.

The D-Line gets pressure on Harrington and he tosses some interceptions.
Matt does his ball control specialty... again.
Houston wins this one.

Kirwan wins my Expert of the Week award, he seems like he has actually done his homework.

I say we sit samkon go-no-where and have walker come off the practice squad to add a different gear to our running game to compliment dayne...gado isnt as powerful as dayne for as fast as green...so really he's the odd man out...I think we should make the switch. I believe walker is faster, shiftier, has better hands, and better vision....would be a no brainer for me....what are y'alls thoughts??

Only thing I'm concerned about is containing Alge Crumpler. He's off to a bad start this season, but we really have nobody over the middle defensively to match up with him pound for pound. Boulware will (SHOULD) get a chance to redeem himself against Crumpler and I hope he makes the most of it. In a perfect world I'd like to see our D-Line completely stop Warrick Dunn and Jerious Norwood so DeMeco can stay back and lay the wood on Crumpler when he crosses the field. I'd like to utilize Boulware in a few different blitz packages, because let's face it, that's what he does best...blitz and support the run.

Crumpler is definitely still a threat regardless of who's at QB. He's arguably their best offensive weapon. Our LBs need to hit him off the line of scrimmage to slow him down and disrupt his timing getting into his routes. As for Boulware, I think he matches up better against Crumpler than he did against Clark. Clark is quicker and runs better routes. I'm hoping to see a much improved effort by Boulware this game since he's had another week to adjust to our system.
