He's a FA at season's end. With Bailey and Bly now, maybe DEN would even be open to the idea of trading him midseason. Would you want to try to land him?

Trades rarely happen in the NFL and there's no way that they trade him and leave themselve vulnerable at CB.

They would probably do that deal, if they thought they could get faggins up to speed in time for a postseason push. Texans though will not be giving up picks.

I know how much the texans value draft picks and I know how well they've done with them. They believe in building through the draft, first and formost.

Remember they are not going to wager the future of the team for a veteran push during the season.

I'm not saying that it would never happen, but I'm saying that most of these proposal that people put out there for picks are never going to happen. Texans aren't going to give up anything in the first day of the draft for sure and I highly doubt a fourth round pick. Also people who have solid#2 corners don't trade them. Especially in season.

Thats true but the players there trying to get rid of our probably old and not worth anything to the team.

I can kind of agree with that, but for me hypothetical don't work. If you had an actualy proposal that would be different. But in theory I don't see the texans deviating from building through the draft.

I have a proposal indeed. But reaction from this board has been less than favorable to it. Not like it bothers me, because I know this would be a heck of a deal if we pulled it off.

2008 3rd Round Pick
2009 1st and 4th Round Picks

Its never a good idea to give away that many draft picks for one player. With all those picks we should be able to find a good corner and some other valuable players too. I wouldnt be heartbroken if we did that, but I dont think its a good idea, especially considering how we have done in the draft. Would you trade Okoye + JJ for Asomugha? That is basically what you are proposing.
