Hey Everyone!

I'm a long time Texan fan from Ohio and will be making my first ever trip to Houston next friday to see the following game (Houston Vs. Miami).

I was wondering what there was to do in Houston before the game on Sunday. Also, is their an area at the stadium that fans can greet the players as they come in? Is there anything that I should expect at the game and is there also a game shop open on Friday and Saturday where I could go to buy Texans gear?

I saw this topic and thought someone was prematurely starting a thread regarding next week's game. Glad to hear you can make it! I don't have season tickets, so I can't give you much advice regarding pre-game stuff.

I'm wondering though, how are you not a Browns fan?

Go to the Texans store at the stadium - enter the Westridge gate off Kirby Drive and park in the lot on your left. It's on the south side of the stadium.

As far as greeting players, they enter on the north side. Not sure how close you can get or when they come in. Someone else will have to answer that.

If you get there early, walk around the parking lots. The tailgating here is quite good...

You need a parking pass to park in the stadium lots on game day. If you don't have a parking pass, there are other options just outside the fences.

I will am also going to the game from the far away land of san antonio. Where are you staying? My buddy and I will be at the Holliday inn right there at reliant.
