WHY?!? Any fool could clearly see that he caught it. This guy clearly doesn't value tmeouts, or he would SAVE them like a smart football coach for the END of the half. Don't waste them frivolously at the beginning of the half.

Blame whoever was watching in the box. Obviously they told him to challenge it

Yeah, that came from above, but it was a stupid challenge no doubt!

The one where he challenged the catch was on the money. But bad officiating was horrendous today. He had one foot in and the other didn't make it.

During the CBS telecast the announcers made it sound like he got word from above AFTER the fact that it was a bad challenge. Coaching staff needs to get THEIR heads on straight!

My bad, if that is the case then I agree

What game were you watching? Roddy got both feet in safely with ROOM TO SPARE.

It looked like he did not have possession at first.

After these 2 games, I'm starting to wonder how Kubiak got this job.

Kubiak is still young as a HC. He is going to make mistakes. We can't lynch the guy just yet. The call was questionable because it seemed like he might not have had control of the ball. Personally, I thought it was a clear catch and a waste of a timeout, but I'm not willing to fire the coach over it.

The TV showed a different angle and the announcers were talking about how bad a challenge that was. when they showed it at a different angle the announcers went quiet. They spotted the flaw and knew Kubiak was right and quickly went to the game. I have it on DVR and will gladly check after I come back from work today.

It just depends on whether you think he had control when he first caught the ball. If you don't, then he didn't get both feet in. If you think he had possession, then he clearly got two fee in.

I think it was close enough to be on the shoulders of the ref. If he calls it either way, that call is not going to be over-turned.

The majority of the time the call on the field stands. I would have saved the timeout.
