I personally think it gets reduced to 8 games. Just seems to me after reading the Tank Johnson suspension, that yea the commish means business, however I think half a season will be the outcome. I think it will be reduced to 8 games with the option to increase it to 16 if he is found guilty of any charges.
Just my thought, I mean the fact that tank can have the suspension reduced by 2 games if he complys with the conditions tells me that he is going to give some of these guys chances. Anyone else think this will happen?

Seems like I heard that Pacman can get his reduced to 10 games if he keeps out of trouble and follows all the conditions in the suspension. But Pacman isn't really out of legal trouble yet. They're still investigating that Las Vegas incident. Right now there's no illegality with his involvement. But if he gets officially charged with a crime in that thing...
Plus, I have my doubts that he'll stay out of strip clubs for a whole year.

I have to say there is no way his suspension gets reduced. He has an appeal in by request of himself and his manager. The players union put up little to no defense in his suspension in the first place so I don't see Goodell budging nor do I see the players union pushing very hard for the reduction.
Tank Johnson has a probation violation stemming from unlicensed firearms that were inside his own home. That is hard to compare to a guy that could have multiple charges, including attempted murder, brought against him.

Actually the players union sided with his appeal, so it is a pretty big message. Especially if it is taking Goodell this long to actually come back with a response.. If there was no way that it could be reduced I think Goodell would have come out and announced it by now. Personally I think Goodell is stuck between a rock and a hard place. A rock being his commitment to making sure the conduct of the league is no longer tarnishable without a severe punishment. The hard place being the fact Pac man suspension is a lot longer than the rest of the players suspended so far. I think he will have to reduce it to keep levity especially now with Tank getting an 8 game suspension with a reprieve after 6. Chris Henry is the only player with no reprieve in his suspension. Pacman has one after week 10. I think he could see his suspension drop to 10 games with a reprieve after week 8 if he keeps his act together. Now I dunno what the titans will have in the way of pac man because they are unsure if they want him. Even if he comes back after week 10 the team could do him like TB did keyshawn and Philadelphia did TO. I know Jeff fisher being a major part of the competition committee will have interesting input on the situation.
