I was making a point with the thread title. When myself and others pointed bad play and performances by specific players, we were labeled "band wagoners" by others.

You can be critical of poor performance and not be jumping off the band wagon.

boy, this went over everyone's heads. I love the Texans but I'm also not going to defend them when they play terrible. and when the coach said we played bad, he better have been talking a collective we meaning the coaches.

Kubiak's play-calling wasn't perfect, but I'd blame Richard Smith and his gutless defensive calls first. Besides that, if you're going to blame any one person, it's time to start really calling out Faggins.

I could also give a lot of the blame to Dayne. He is too big and too slow to be going down with the first hit every time, much less an arm-tackle. The run-blocking sucked in this game, and Dayne's rushing was even worse. He doesn't even take advantage of the opportunities he does get anymore. It's like the last 4 games of 2006 never happened.

One thing I really like about Kubiak is that he likes to go for it on 4th and short. That takes guts and is also statistically correct. A team that goes for it more often than most on 4th and short is either going to win more or ain't worth a CRAP anyway.
