SI's Peter King listed this under his "Ten Things I Think" that he does every Monday in his MMQB column.

3. I think I'd bet you a lot of money that if you put Arthur Blank, Rich McKay and Bobby Petrino on sodium pentathol, they'd tell you they wish they'd never pulled the trigger on the Matt Schaub trade. Just to be on the safe side, Petrino has to get Joey Harrington ready to play this summer. Not that Harrington will definitely be on the field, but I can guarantee you the Falcons did not sign Harrington thinking they were going to need him as more than a spot replacement guy.
Fools!

Yeah, I am sure he wants to be in that media circus surrounding Vick. Now they are stuck with Harrington at QB if Vick gets suspended or hurt. Ouch...that has to hurt.
Actually. I am of the mind they can have Schaub back... Under certain conditions... Which follow.
Since we trade this years and next years 2nd, and we swaped this years first.. here are my conditions.
We get:
Our second back next year.
Jamel Anderson (who was alt pick with our pick this year) giving up thier first this year.
Chris Houston (who they picked up with thier second 2nd rounder from us).
Thier second next year.
They get:
Matt Schaub back.
Sounds fair to me.. grin.

I really dont want Justin Blalock so I think I would stick with Schaub. Even if we did get Houston Im kida interested to see what are young corners can do with a productive D line. I like the trade and I like what Schaub could bring to the texans so I say keep him.
I was trying to be kind and let them have the 1st second rounder.. Plus... Houston would be solid for us.

On my YouTube video fo Okoye (senior bowl highlights) Blalock gets schooled by Okoye. Blows right by him and leaves Blalock stumbling just to get his balance back. It was awesome.
And here's something to chew on:
1. Reggie Bush allegations of wrong-doing surface pre-draft in 2006 (Bush getting his parents a house). Texans pass on Bush and get Mario.
2. Texans get Schaub, get smoked by the sports media, and then allegations of Vick's wrong-doing surface a few weeks later.
Now, I'm not a conspiracy theory guy...but perhaps McNair has an espionage team out there to help make his decisions look more prudent than what the media assess them as?
The timing is uncanny. No way Atlanta does the Schaub trade if they think Vick is going to land in trouble. If it's not the work of someone in our Texans' organization, then it was the best "break" we've received in a long, long time. The timing is wild, isn't it?
It's...just...a...thought.............hmmmmmmmm... .

...and who would your qb be?
for a 1 year fifth rounder.. we could have have trent green with sage and the other new kid on the block.

How about Sage... he showed promise, and has working time with the team. Beside the H/C is going to run the offense the way he wants. He's calling the game. Getting all that talent, on our team sure would improve it.

...pay Green 7.2 million for 1 year...find another qb next year and start training all over again? no thanks
JMO, but we didn't give up much for Matt-so we switched 1st places in the draft, we still got our DT--Schaub is basically our 2nd this year, no other qb comes close long term this year--we lose a 2nd next year. If Matt can play the qb position and be effective, it will be a steal.
