Please keep in mind that I'm thinking we're picking in the 12-17 range

1. Reggie Smith CB/FS
2. Jonathan Stewart RB
3. Ryan Clady OT
4. Malcolm Jenkins CB
5. Tony Hills OT
6. Steve Slaton RB
7. Derrick Harvey DE
8. Dan Connor OLB

I believe Reggie Smith is exactly what we're looking for to fill our secondary. He has the athleticism and instincts to play both CB and FS, our two biggest defensive needs.

Jonathan Stewart is the best RB on board and has the talent to be a primary RB.

Ryan Clady is the best available LT prospect and has good size and athleticism, but our OL hasn't been as bad as our run game or secondary, that's why he's 3rd.

Malcolm Jenkins is a big physical CB who could possibly play FS as well.

Tony Hills is one of the most athletic LT prospects in the draft. He's behind Jenkins because we have a bigger need at DB.

Steve Slaton isn't a primary back in the NFL imo, but he can be used as a bigtime weapon. I think we'd be picking a RB again in 2009 to be the thunder unless the team is happy with Gado/Dayne.

Derrick Harvey is the best speed rusher IMO. We could really use him, but we have bigger needs than another DL.

Dan Connor is the best OLB this year, but it's more of a luxory position. I think there is enough depth at LB this year that we can take one later.

me too, but we can get a RB later...we cant get a FS who will be able to start right away. not to mention smith probably doesnt wanna spend 1st round money on a RB while Ahman is with us

McFadden is a beast. WAAAAAY bettery prospect then Bush as a RB. When McFadden takes the field everyone in the stadium knows he is getting the ball and he still gets it done. He doesn't have the benefit of a Matt Leinart, Lendale White, Dwayne Jarret ect... to take any defensive attention. Mc Fadden is another LT in the making.

jonathan stewart 2-3rd round? he's a 1st round lock unless he runs like crap at the combine. he and mcfadden are the only 1st round lock RB's IMO. i agree slaton is a bit overrated, but he provides alot of versatility as a RB/WR ala reggie bush. if we are picking later in the 1st, and all the guys ahead of him are gone, i wouldnt mind picking him. he's not what we need, but he will make an impact on our offense. and yea derrick harvey...he's a speed rusher, which we lack unless you count Orr.

What about receiver? I know it isn't a round 1 priority, but Matt Schaub could use another target who has more upside potential than Kevin Walter and isn't as old as Andre Davis.

I know we have Jacoby Jones, so we probably won't draft a receiver. I just think JJ needs some hands work. That pass he dropped two weeks ago hit him in the facemask.

P.J. Hill would probably slip to the 2nd-3rd Round if he were eligible this year, just because of all the talent in front of him.

He reminds me too much of ron dayne i dont want another ron dayne thank you.

I just want someone to replace Green I don't care where we find them. He is an injury waiting to happen, old, and I just never have really liked him even when he was in green bay. I remember he used to fumble a lot there.
