Trent Green headed to Miami

Jay Glazer, of FOXSports.com, reports the [URL="http://www.kffl.com/team/22/nfl"]Miami Dolphins (http://www.kffl.com/hotw) have acquired QB Trent Green (http://www.kffl.com/player/989/nfl) from the Kansas City Chiefs (http://www.kffl.com/team/21/nfl) for a fifth-round draft pick in 2008 that can become a fourth-round draft pick depending on Green’s playing time with the Dolphins. The deal is contingent on Green passing a physical.

I'm glad he finally got his deal. Herm Edwards made it clear Green was not his guy. He's always been a solid QB and he deserves to be traded to a team that wants him. On the other hand that pretty much means Dante Culpepper is not going to be the Dolphins starting QB. It's a shame because he has a cannon arm and it sucks to see his career sidelined by an injury
The only drawback is that it took so long to get this deal done that Green is going to have to play catch up and learn the offense pretty quick before camp starts.

Its about time. Poor guy couldnt even enroll his kids in school cuz he didnt know where they would be living. Glad all this is over for him and his family.
