Offensive Line Play

Our offensive line didn't give up many sacks today, but they certainly didn't drive anyone off the ball and create holes for the running backs. Their D-Line has been in our backfield all day pressuring Matt Schaub and they finally got to him. It was bound to happen sooner or later. Whether it's the center or the two tackles, we have problems all along the line.

I will say though that we have been in a situation in the second half where we have had to throw the ball, so the D-Line could pin their ears back, but still!

Our line has killed us today...penalties and bad protection all day long and on the most important plays...its not looking good.

The O-line really stunk today. Salaam was horrible, but Winston had a lousy game as well. Pitts got beat badly in the first quarter on the aborted QB sneak where Schaub got stuffed on the goal line.

I say bring in Charles Spencer see what we have there and then draft O line this year.

I agree. We have to draft O-Line this year. We can't wait on Spencer. I'd still put him at RT next year and draft a solid 1st Rd. LT.

Sadly, I still feel like we need secondary help pretty badly, but Bennett has shown that he can play today.
