With AJ back next week, expect a HUGE turnaround with this team. This team will play like they did the first couple of games this season and we will all be happy again. Other players will feed off of AJ's success.
The only two tough games left for the season are the Chargers and Colts - both on the road. It won't take much to beat Oakland, Saints, Titans, Browns, Broncos, and Jax (payback game). These are all very winnable games!
This team has an excellent chance of winning 7 of the last 10 giving them a 10-6 season.
Be patient, everyone. Have hope. Don't jump ship. It'll be okay!!

I am losing optimism. However, I'll never lose faith in this franchise. I've been a fan since day one, through the dark ages of Carr, and now through this little rough patch. I'll keep being a fan until they either take the franchise elsewhere or put me into the ground.

i to have faith in the LONG RUN but as of now...this season is gonna be a mediocre one...even with our big named guys like aj and jj i dont see our run game improving enough to take us over the top....8-8 here we come!
Patriots seem to be doing fine without an RB. We're certainly not at the same level as New England but we can't continue to blame this on the RB situation. We have some stud receivers/TEs on this team - when healthy. And that's the key. Right now, the injuries are killing us.
The other key element is putting pressure on the opposing QB. Our defense HAS to step up.

I agree. This is my team and has been since day one, no jumping ship here. The season is long and a lot can change. The good comes w/the bad, welcome to life as an NFL fan.
By they way, i heard this morning on the radio not to expect AJ back this week vs the Titans. It was even mentioned that depending on how the team does on their 2 week road trip to the west that he may be held out through the bye week. Cross your fingers.

Andre's return will spark the texans! He's just as important to this offense as steve smith is to carolina.

I am hoping we become better when AJ comes back but I am not so sure it will be that easy. Ahman Green didn't do a whole lot when AJ was here and a running game would really be nice to help our passing game.
The Saints look like they are getting on the right track, we've only beat the Titans twice ever, the Browns are 3-3 like us, Broncos might be winnable, and Jax just wiped their behinds with us.
What we have to do is get better before the bye. We have Tenn, San Diego and Oakland. We need to go at least 2-1 in those weeks. that would put us at 5-4. I believe a win this week against the Austin Titans helps get our team back together. However to do any of this we must score TD in the Redzone.

We had so much momentum built up early in the season. The injuries just killed it all. I'm losing confidence that we will get any momentum back.
I think we can fix the redzone problems, but I am very worried about our D.

IF AJ comes back this week, then we will beat the Tacks, but it won't be easy.

A lot of us were shooting for 8-8 or 9-7 going into this season. I knew there would be bumps in the road and we would struggle but I was very surprised with how we came out of the gate. That may have upped my expectations a little but realistically 8-8 has always been in the back of my mind.
Settling for mediocrity is not something we should get used to, but considering we haven't every been there it would still be an achievement. Still, we're nowhere near out of this thing at 3-3. A few corrections and better concentration and they can still exceed expectations.
