I'm going to fix the Texans offense.
Play to our strengths
1.a) We have a mobile QB, move the pocket more, especially to the right so Salaam can't hurt us as much in the passing game and we won't have to have too many additional blockers.
1.b)Our team is better at passing then running, so, pass the ball, especially when in the redzone. We all know its harder to pass the ball in the redzone, but we also all know we can't run the ball worth a canadian nickle (wait, isn't that worth more then an american nickle now?) once we get inside the 10. Everyone says "Throw to Daniels" followed by "Everyone knows about Daniels in the endzone now, thats why we don't throw to him" My answer throw to Bruener, Putzier, Leach, and Green in the endzone. Hell Cook can't fumble after he catches the ball in the endzone, throw to him!
2.) Thank-god-your-back-Ahman-Green, I had forgotten what its like to see a running back move a pile. We can finally convert 3rd downs. Yay. This really isn't a fix, its just thank you to Ahman Green.
Coaching Focuses besides the obvious
3.) Give Chester Pitts a swift kick in the ***. We know he can perform, he KNOWS Salaam is struggling. Its on him to take control of that left side of the line.
4.) Please, never, EVER, run a reverse with Walter again. I love Walter, I don't care what you guys say, he's WR 2.A, but he can't turn the corner on a reverse, don't ask him to. If you feel like you need a reverse, use the one where JJ motions to the slot, that one works nicely.
4.5) Speaking of JJ, I understand working him back in slowly, but this week please put him back at WR 2.B and alternate the WRs. Hopefully we have AJ back, the more dynamic recievers the better.
While we're on the WRs
5.) Get yards after catch, I know this is 50% on Schuab for his placement when the heat is brought on him, our guys seem to be falling down right after catching the ball, or just short of the endzone, so the opposing D has us right where they want us ... on the 2 yard line.
/end mini-rant
Lol wrong reciever in the title >.<
