i want to know what you all think about putting in studdard at LG and white at center? i want to switch winston to LT and move salaam over to right...let the guys stay there and gel that way....our oline as of now is horrible...so get guys in there that are gonna make a difference later....like next year or the end of this year....eventually itll have to be made..the sooner the better IMO....so our oline will be
winston studdard white weary salaam

What about Big Nasty?
I want to see what he has as well before the season is over. even if its a week 16 garbage start I want to know how much house we need to clean.

id like to seee somthing or at least hear kubiacs opinion on it...... i like studard, his line he played on in college was one of the best ive seen. and i hear nothin but good things about white...... looking back at these last 6 games i really dont think kubiac is lookin for a superbowl this year, and what i mean by that is that he knows we dont have a franchise back, he knows we dont have a franchise line and i think he knows hes going to develop these 2 guys, bring in a couple more and build this line up very solidly..... i think even with these guys we're still lacking pieces, he sees that and decides to be patient with them and id agree to that......

You have some wild ideas, man. I'm picturing you with a lab-coat and safety glasses on in some dark room with depth charts, balance sheets and the '08 draft and free agent classes hanging on the wall.
I don't think it's as much of a personnel issue as it is an issue of the line being comfortable with eachother and knowing eachother's tendencies

I wish, but seriously doubtful to actually happen. Spence is eligible to come back now, but it's a long-shot that he can be game-ready this season. I see him on IR for the rest of the year and hopefully coming back next season.

spencer can go to rt yes i agree.....and no whitecoat or galsses for me...as the bong....leave it to your imagination!. and i dont think about the players in the draft til near draft time...but thenim that guy in the LAB...anyway...we certainly wont win the sb this year so why not get the young guns in there?
Even though we probably won't be winning the super bowl, winning games is still pretty important

We're 3-3 and still shooting for a wild card spot. There is absolutely no reason to give up on this season.
While I think its important to develop the young guys like studdard and white, starting them may not necessarily be the best idea from a developmental standpoint. the need to get more and more playing time gradually and from off the bench.
Throwing people out there that probably shouldnt be at this point is a good way to get them injured.
Interesting ideas and I always enjoy thinking outside the box. I'd really like to see what White can do but if Spencer comes back healthy, he might be a heck of a mauler at Guard, move Weary to Center, keep Winston at RT and draft a stud LT in the 1st round. Put in Studdard occasionally and develop him to take over Pitts positon. or just have very good Guard depth with Weary, pitts, spencer, and studdard.

I'm for it, but I don't know if that will happen until the end of the season.

I really think Pitts should be our LT for the near future. He has great feet but he will get overpowered by bigger stronger DTs. If I am not mistaken he did really well against Freeney ( who is about the toughest guy in the league to handle with his speed and explosiveness) in his second year. Then move Spencer to OG. i also wouldn't mind seeing Weary at OC.

At this rate, I am prepared to travel to China/Japan to scout out 5 sumo wrestlers. Could they be any worse?
