Just a thought, but say we draft in the pick 12-17 range, why not drop down 5-10 spots and draft the best center on the board. With the second round pick, (the one we would receive from the trade down) we pick a RB, LT, or FS. What ever is the highest rated player on the board.

I'm a big fan of that. C isn't usually a position to look for in the 1st round but if there's a really good one maybe we take him in the 2nd round.
C, LT, and RB would be great positions to fill with a trade down. well at least 2 of the 3.

I dont think a team would trade a second rounder to move up 5 spots. I would trade the first rounder for 2 second round picks (ONE THIS, ONE NEXT YEAR) and this years 3 and sixth or this years 4th and fifth a player.

It's a nice thought, but I doubt many teams would give us a 2nd Rounder for trading down 5 spots. 10 spots is a possbility though.
RYAN CLADY...please declare for the draft. please!!
Assume we have the 10th pick. I'd like to trade down 5-7 spots and take Clady. We pick up 3rd and 6th Round picks in the process, then trade those two picks plus our 7th Round pick to get back into the 2nd Round. We end up with one 1st Round pick, a 2nd, and a 3rd.
1 - Ryan Clady
2 - Ray Rice
3 - Quentin Demps
