Haven't heard of it until now, the main site usually has a recap of the day up later in the evening. Welcome to the board and good luck to Andre.

Andre doesn't have practice squad eligibility remaining so he would have to be signed to the 53 if they wanted him - meaning someone would have to be cut in order for him to join the team.

The Texans currently have 5 CBs (and Hutchins) who can also play CB. I don't see them cutting any of the 5 CBs or Hutchins so the cut would have to come from another position. They do need help at FS and if I recall correctly Andre is tall 6'1" (?) so that's the area where help is needed. Will Demps is currently the backup FS and he was just signed as a FA few weeks ago. Not sure if they are totally satisfied with his performance or not.

Curious if y'all are related to Butch and Regina Woolfolk? Butch was an Oiler, Regina is with the Texans - they live here and their son Troy was headed to Dad's alma mater last I heard.

Teams bring guys in for workouts every week just to check them out. It may be nothing more than that. Good luck to him regardless.

Yep, 5 CBs, 10 SSs, and 0 FSs. :D

I'm just kidding, I don't even know anymore because I lost track about a month ago.

well..... usually everyone wants to see Faggins head on the chopping block, so I am surprised they haven't nominated him :D

Welcome aboard WoolfolksUncle! There are many knowledgeable fans here, but with any message board you have to deal with sarcasm from time to time, I hope it doesn't reflect poorly on the rest of us.

As for your nephew, I have not seen anything, and wish him well! I would think a 6'2" CB from Oklahoma would be worth Kub and Smith taking a look at!

I wonder how come he doesn't play with The Titans anymore. Even Griffin plays CB for them and he was a safety in college.

Griffin is better in coverage than Woolfolk was.

Woolfolk is like as nickel back?

He was more of an athlete than a finished product as a cb when drafted. He played some WR in College and was really drafted more on potential as an athlete than he was on his technique as a cb. He is pretty tall for a CB at 6'1"....and that's not always a good thing for a CB since long striders don't tend to cover as well most of the time since they don't tend to have as good a hip turn. Had some injury problems his whole career. http://newsok.com/article/3153039/1193003978

Cornerback Andre Woolfolk was healthy enough to play only 39 of a possible 64 games with Tennessee, and was cut before this season with a bad hamstring.

Let's cut Faggins. He's the worst one.
