Is it just me or does Pointdexter sound like a man who was being paid to make this investigation go away and now is scared ****less cuz the feds took over?

If Vick is convicted of anything soon now that the Feds have taken over, I will be thoroughly convinced that Pointdexter was bury evidence and collecting a second paycheck.

I think he is guilty and is trying to avoid any serious consequences for as long as he can. He should just come out and admit what he did and get it over with, maybe have a plea bargin. It's stupid for someone who is making something like $13 million a year to be into things like this, I guess some people just dont grow up

This is a total waste of my tax dollars. I want the feds working on keeping terrorists out of the country or stopping counterfeiters or working on organized crime or serial killers/rapists. Let the local yokels work this dog thing. It doesn't really affect most of the people in the country. THAT'S the Feds' job; to work BIG crimes. This is only "big" because its constantly in the sports pages.
Some jerk in the FBI is trying to grab some headlines and make a name for himself, pure and simple.

The reports said dog fighting has been going on in this area for years. How come they're going after it so hard now - AFTER Vick's name was attached to it?? Coincidence? I think not.
You and I know if that was our house, it wouldn't have made the Chronicle (well, maybe one day) let alone the national sports news scene.
Of course its a celebrity thing. Now is it a Black thing. Naaah... Its a total celebrity thing that's getting this story all the attention.
Let me ask another way. Is the former Vick house the ONLY place in the country where dog fighting goes on??? I think not. Is that the only one under investigation?? I'd bet not. But it sure as heck is the only one you see, every day, on TV.

When the prosecutor somehow lets the house containing the evidence to get burglarized, disagrees with a warrant because of its wording, then throws out every excuse such as race or celebrity, it makes me wonder what side he's on. I think this whole thing is blown to huge proportions because it is Vick but come on, something fishy was going on.

I feel that he is trying to play the O.J. Simpson card and turn this into a racial thing. Doesn't matter how hard he reaches to find something to stall the process, the fact is that Vick is in some really deep doo doo now. Just sit back and enjoy the show...

I think the prosecutor was sandbagging and trying to undermine the case. Perhaps he is on Vick's payroll.

"ESPN Radio is reporting that nearly three dozen dog carcasses were found." ...and it keeps getting worse...

you know i think the more troubling thing about this case is the fact that so many other NFL players really don't see what vick was doing as bad crime...did anyone see the interview with clinton portis and chris samuels in the background laughing the whole time...they didn't take it seriously because to them it's not something that is serious...how many pro athletes do you think part in activities like this?
personally i wouldn't be surprised if we ended up seeing guys like portis being caught in similiar activities...to some of these guys now that they have money all they want to do is the live the life they dreamed of having when they were kids...never really grew up because their whole life was based off playing the game
i believe the reason the feds got into this case is because they knew that poindexter was trying his best to let vick go...he wasn't trying his best to collect the evidence and sure as heck wasn't trying his best to make a case at all...maybe he's on vick's payroll maybe not...bottomline is if he was doing his job the feds would have seen no reason to get involved
also take into consideration that reports say that vick was a big time player in the dog fighting world...maybe the reason the feds are into this case is because he's a major person in this world...getting him might lead to getting more guys and that's their job

Another reason for the Feds to get involved is if they found the fight ring that was involved, that it crossed state lines. This may wind up bitting more than one NFL guy in the butt. Could DD have been one of them? He made no secreat that he breed Pitbulls, but did he fight them or maybe supply them to those that do? Not sure. He didn't seem like the type, but ya never know.
