Baker & Long both look like RT's to me. Doubt Smith/Kubiak go that route unless they are the bpa.

Good NFL LT's are hard to find. Who knows, maybe Brandon Frye can become what we're looking for at LT.
I doubt they go OL in Round 1 too. I think they've gotta go CB or DE in Round 1. Two names that come to mind are Malcolm Jenkins and Quentin Groves. Two future Pro Bowlers if you ask me.

agreed. it probably would'nt hurt to add a 1st rd. corner although 5 years straight on the D-Line might be a little too much. Maybe Rick can package Mathis/Babin & reload a 2nd in 08? Brandon really has a nice slide move, quick feet & the athletic ability to play some LT, would have to really commit & pick-up the scheme, but I do think he has the potential.

i like kenny phillips if we're in the top 10. OT's like barry richardson, tony hills, kirk barton, gosder cherilus will be around in the middle of the 1st.

Baker is similar athleticly to Justice. Better suited for RT, but can play LT if needed. Long is a RT only. Gaither is the best OT in the draft. Fry should not start for us, and shouldn't really be anything more than a career backup. It's too early to guess who we will take, but DL should be off the list. Also, Groves isn't the best DE FYI.

I say wait to see where we are picking next year then refer back to this mock.

if the texans don't want to trade with the vikings for adrian peterson that compares to reggie bush then next year in the draft I want darren mcfadden.

I like Slaton as well I feel he is a homerun threat everytime he lines up in the backfield. Thats as far as running backs go.

He left out Kenny Phillips and Calais Campbell from Miami. I think both of those guys will come out, and go in the first round.

That means the Texans will most likely have to trade up from #18-20to #2-5. I doubt they'd do that. Slaton's a better RB thanMcFadden anyway.

Nope McFaddin is a freak of nature. Barring injuury he shouold go #1 over all.

So all day just let us know when you get tired of our OLTsituation. Going on seven years and four guys...might be time to adressit. The odds are very long for fifth round guys to step up and fill theposition. But you just let us know there when the situation and palyermeets the Allday line.

I don't know if Mario Manningham would leave as a junior. I also think Jake Long is going to be a higher pick next year.
