Well this season is over for the Texans. It started out good, but nope, same ol' Texans. I seriously wonder HOW many years it's going to take for this franchise to make the playoffs. While this season isn't really over, but they're basically going to have to win out if they want to make the playoffs.

Well look at the bright side! Atleast one NFL team in Texas knows how to win!

Well at this point we want to try and avoid the losing season but that doesn't look so great.

I just wonder why you have to spend the time to come talk smack since your team is oh so great. I guess deep down, Cowboy fans always get scared when another team comes on the scene.

Yeah, talking crap about a team on their own message board probably isn't a good idea. :)

Honestly though, I root for the Texans. I really want them to have a winning season. I like it when Texas teams are good. But year and year again, it's the same result. It's just an unlucky franchise. I mean, didn't Jacksonville make the playoff 5 times in their first 6 seasons?

The thing about it is the losses get worse and worse. I hope we don't try to come back. I don't think I could stomach that again.

Another long year. I guess we'll feel better when the Cowboys get beat in the playoffs

Haha. Keep dreaming. Just because the Cowboys make the playoffs, you're jealous?

Funny thing is, Cowboy fans don't hate the Texans. We feel pity for them. There's really no reason to hate them. Nothing to be jealous about. I would just like some inner-state competition within these two team's fanbase. But right now, everybody is embarrassed to admit they are Texan fans. None are really die-hard.

I would QUIT watching football altogether before I would ever became a "fan" of the dallas Cartel.....
I recently heard that the dallas fans in dallas can't stand the ones in Houston. Interesting....

******* them..

Dude, all your wins but one came against teams that have losing records, didn't they?
What happened when you played a good team?
Oh yeah, folded like a cheap suit!
Maybe the cowboy players can come down here for a play-off watching party!

I am not a Cowboy fan, but I wish I was, so I could watch some good football, ooh just to let ya'll know Sage just threw an Int.
McNair obviously is not a fan, or else he would be hot at what Kubiak and Rick Smith have done with 140 million dollars of his payroll. IF McNair were a fan he be in Kubiaks face, I like the Cowboys owner getting fired up on game day, at least he CARES if the team wins or looses.

I don't suppose you wanna give us JJ or Marion for a few weeks; that would definitely give us a boost... >_>

I will agree with you here. We are very unlucky. A big part of the game is having things bounce your way. We have never had that consistently.

Ever since we started out we have had bad luck. Boselli turning out to be a non-playing bust. Losing Williams when he was looking like a high caliber back, obvious calls not going our way.

We need to get an old priest and a young priest to sort this out.

It took Dallas 7 years to have a winning season, Denver 14 years and Pittsburgh 10 years. This is our 6th season.

You can not compare what it was like in the old days for expansion teams to the way it is now. Notice how Jacksonville and Carolina both went to their respected Conference Championship in their 2nd year in the league? Back in the old days, they would get nothing but scrubs. Nowadays, you get two or three players from each team and high draft picks, so your chances of starting out successful are much higher than back then. Houston has been around 5 seasons without a playoff berth, 6 if you count this year. It's just a very unlucky franchise, where next year is the consistant story.

It seems like the Texans are the NFL version of the Tampa Bay Devil Rays.

As a Jag fan I must say...Better you than us.

Stay injury free for the rest of the season.

We started out with huge potential. We had talent on both sides of the ball: Carr/Johnson/Davis on offense and Sharper/Glenn as leaders on defense IIRC. Bad coaching and management took us down the wrong path (i.e. trading those defensive players and arguably ruining Carr), and now we're trying to recover from that.

Haha and you say I'm classless. Well that's ok. I'm content watching my successful Cowboys. Go ahead with your "maybe next year" talks for the rest of this franchise's history.

Nice to see some people sticking up for their vurnable team.

What does it say about the Cowboys who have a losing record against the "rotten" Texans?

Kubiak said going into the season we are a few players from "there" and I still think the Texans have a good chance at going .500 this season.

There is something terribly wrong its called Our QB does not have it. Our Qb manages the game but he doesnt put the team on his back consistently. He makes careless mistakes now and looks alot like trent dilfer. We are still looking for that franchise QB, Its definitely not schaub. As cowboy fans you know how hard it is to find the QB that can make the plays that turn L's into W's. You can blame a bad O line, You can blame a bad defense, but the cowboys had those issues last year until they started tony Romo.

I say we activate Shane Boyd and give him a try.

I love the Texans first off let me say, but to me what i feel this team is lacking and has been lacking is passion, i mean i've never once seen the Texans play with passion everyone on the team is so mellow, seems like no1 has confidence to go out and say they are going to win a game so it shows in the way they play football i believe there are a few players who do play with passion and we all know who they are, but the question is do many of our players have heart to win
