Looks like we're headed for a top five pick in the 08 draft!!! My optimism for this team is now gone. I love the Texans, but this was an embarrassment. So instead of wondering how good we are, now I have to wonder how bad. Oh well i'm still behind them.

Go Texans?

The good news this week is:

The game is finally over.

We actually showed some signs of a running game, I guess that is somewhat encouraging.

You're very funny.

We're now that much closer to getting a stud LT in the 1st.

Haven't you heard? Kubiak can work wonders with unheralded o-linemen, just like at Denver.

If you had Houston beating San Diego when the schedule was released, you were far more optimistic about this team than I was. San Diego started slow, but they've been a bulldozer the past few weeks, which was what they were expected to be leading up the the regular season.

No I expected this one to be a loss, however I did not expect us to play like complete garbage. We looked completely ridiculous out there. It was truly an embarrassing performance.

Well...when you consider that San Diego has the best RB in the league, the best TE in the league, finally a legit wide receiver, a beastly offensive line, a top defense, it's really not a surprise that a team who is missing their best WR, their starting RB, their starting LT, and half of their safeties, it's not that surprising we played like trash.

Actually, I'd still be surprised even with all of those injuries. I'd expect us to play, just not as well, but to play like trash is unnacceptable. Even if we had AJ, Green, and McKinney, if we overshoot the punter on the snap, and let their secondary have a field day, we still lose.

were not anywhere near a top 5 pick, there are alot of teams worse then us.

I call it right now, we have the lucky 13th pick.

We've been missing those same players since the 3rd week. Remember the Indy game? We were in it the whole game. We should be getting better as time goes on playing these other guys.

Well, there are a few differences, no AJ, no Mathis, no McKinny, no Green, Matt beat up, and our secondary (especially Faggins) have been exposed.

The good news this week? Echemandu looked like he could become our #2 RB for the remainder of the season, and we are playing a more winnable schedule for the next 3 games.

Yup. Even with my 12-4 prediction..the Chargers was one of those losses.

I just thought we could at least try to play football out there. It was so bad!

But this is about the positives right? Okay well..the only really bright thing i saw was echemandu. He seemed to have vision. Fairly quick feet and ran hard!
He didn't wait for a hole..he hit the area and forced his way through..looking for room whether it was left right or straight ahead.

I am afraid that he is not really in football shape and how long will he last before he gets hurt...but as far as positives...i think he was it for me. I didn't really see too much to be positive about other than a few plays by Dunta and Demeco.

At least it's not the #8 pick. 8's have not been kind to us so far.
