Deangelo Hall?
Here's my reasoning, our DLine gets no pass rush whatsoever, and in Deangelo, you get a proven #1 type cover CB to pair up with Dunta. If we can't get a pass rush, we need guys who can cover. I know Hall is about to be a FA after next season (or is it this season?), but throw contract situation out the window. Atlanta would probably have to throw something else in the deal just because Mario was the #1 pick and still has potential, and Hall has fallen out of favor with the staff, but for now, would you trade Mario Williams for Deangelo Hall?

A free stadium lunch. Really, he might bring something worthy because he might still have some upside.

2 Mario's.
Take that deal. I actually still feel the Mario pick will pay off, trade or by play.

This thread is stupid! But I would think about it for DHall and a draft pick or two.

Make the trade. Dante Hall is a proven playmaker where Maria Williams often gets lost in one.
Uh..... Dante Hall and DeAngelo Hall are two different players.
Dante Hall is a WR/KR
DeAngelo Hall is a CB.

I feel we just need SOMEBODY to smack him around. If Kubes and the other coaches don't jump all over hm during games and practice after a bad game(and we have seen many). Then bring in someone who WILL get on his *****.
Many guys who are no longer coaches still want to be active. So, if Kubes and staff stay as I belive they will. Would it hurt too much to get someone (examples here only...doubt they would do it) like Jimmy Johnson, Mike Ditka or ect. And have their sole role(as nobody else will), to ride players. Talk with Kubes and tell him to bench a player for "X" ammount of plays or games. That is if they don't play well. True, all guys may have an off game(except Brady this year:eek:), but Mario has had how many "off games" this season alone?
I say hire a "players mentor" who has an attitude, and will either get a guy to play...or get him his walking papers. Do you really feel a guy like my example Ditka or JJ would let him on the feild after what he has yet to do this year? Mario(IMO) would be riding pine till he produced...even if that meant that a average at best player started in their spot.

Dante Hall..absolutely no way man! Deangelo Hall...no way. He's a good CB that would really upgrade our secondary but Mario will be great...give him time. I know everyone says that and its annoying, but I think he will end up being really great for this team.
I would however trade Mario Williams for Joe Thomas and a 2nd round pick.

The only way I'm giving up Mario is for Merriman....if we can make that happen, then let's talk, if not, let's all just enjoy the ride and watch what kind of damage he will inflict on QBs for years to come...

Are there any salary cap implications? Do we still owe him signing bonus money? You have to take that into consideration.
