Herndon is a solid player, but I don't think he's a special player.
What it tells me is that the Griffin experiment to corner during OTA was not what they were hoping for.

What it tells me is that the Griffin experiment to corner during OTA was not what they were hoping for.I don't think it says that at all. Even if Griffin was looking like the next great shutdown corner in practices the Titans would sitll be in need of a solid CB. From Fisher and Reinfeldt's comment about Herndon before the signing it sounds like they view ideally as a nickleback. That leaves room for Harper, Griffin, and Herndon in 3-Wr sets also gives them flexibility to where they don't have to rely on Pacman Jones.

good pick up it shows that they were able to find a replacement for pacman. I think they might give pacman one last chance after this but if he messes up again (out side the ffotball field) he is out of there.
