I am from Houston and I live in London. I watch all the games on yahoo NLF season pass, they have a package that lets you watch all the games on-line. It is a $225 for the season or $25 for a weekend. This service available only outside the U.S..

1) call some local sports bars in the city to include some of the better hotels;
2) nfl.com and espn.com have "game trackers" where you can watch graphics with play-by-play updates. It is a few minutes behind, but I have used it before; or
3) Listen to the game via 610 a.m.'s website.

Well, depending on you... but when I'm away from Houston. My stand-by is a Casino! You can drink and watch the game on their Hi-Def tv's located in the bars and play vidio poker while drinking free drinks with your play on the machines at your seat. No play - forget free booze. Hint, the poker machines have a higher pay-back than regular slots, when played with Max bet for each hand. ( .25 X 5 = $ 1.25 ) and becareful you have selected a machine that isn't a $ !.00 min bet. ( $ 1 X 5 = $ 5.00 ). Remenber you there too watch game, slow play with a eye on breaking even. Don't chase if you luck is running bad. Good luck

Get a Slingbox and phone with Windows mobile. Then you can watch anything that's on your tv at home anywhere you can get an internet connection.

Before I got the NFL ticket I used to follow the games right here on the Texans website. They did a play by play, but like someone else said it was a little slow. Your best bet though would probably be a sports bar that has the NFL ticket and is willing to put the game on for you. Only thing is you usually won’t get sound if there are a bunch of other TVs and games on.

i was going to say the same thing. be a good long term investmentas well. if you want to watch any sports team in houston when yougo out of town. ou can get them at fry's, or just about anyelectronics store. but i would suggest fry's, that store is mydreamland.

Another vote here that Slingbox is the way to go. Watch TV or anything connected to the Sling -- DVR, VCR, whatever. Laptop + Slingbox = football from anywhere (assuming you have it on your cable/satellite feed to begin with). And it's only ~$200.

Why Toronto? Of all the places in the world.... I live about 4 hours away (close to Ottawa). So if you can make it to my place you're welcome to watch the game here. I have NFL Sunday Ticket, so I watch the Texans all the time (I have to work every 6th Sunday so I tape it then).
If that's not possible, e-mail me your address and I'll send you a tape of the game. Still a good idea to check the sports bars though. Problem is Torontonians cheer for buffalo-that may be the game you're stuck with.
Let me know when you get to Toronto. Sure would be great to watch a Texans game with a real fan.
