Hi all,
Anyone else is having problem with Direct TV during this raining season beside me??? This is so irritating!!!
The only reason why I got Direct TV is because i'm in Ft. Lauderdale/Miami area, and Sunday Ticket is only available through Direct TV. I paid over 500 bucks so far for all these HD craps... and so far, it's not worth it.

I've had DirectTV and Dish Network for years. You will get rain attenuation at times, but it's usually very brief. The rain has to be very heavy for me to experience outages. I've found that a misaligned dish not getting full strength is more than likely the cause if you're experiencing outages longer than 15 mins. If this is the case, I'd have the installer back out to the house and verifying your dish is alligned correctly, and that there are no obstructions between your dish and the satellite.

Only during massive rain have I had issues, and I have been a customer for over 10 years.
I just have a spare set of rabbit ears for times like those, you know you can local hd over the air.
Direct Tv has by far the best options, service, picture quality and price, so maybe you need a tune up as siad in the previous post.
