I don't know who it was in the booth, but he was literally cheering for the Browns all game. Pathetic.

oh now they say we are doing good and will be a good team. What are they reading the message boards or something? Its too late loser announcers you went against the Texans! I say wait till next season!

I turn off my TV when Cleveland scored the last TD.
Which season do you want? I'll bet it might be worth it to try for next century.Hows it going haven't heard from you in awhile either. Dang the board is almost back to normal.

The announcers for the game were horrible. They were wrong on the facts so many times I lost count. Unfortunately, until the team gets better we will be stuck with having the worst announcing crews for CBS calling the games.

When we were close to a .500 season you remember which team stopped us? Clevland, at Houston. The next season we won 2 games.

...Tasker was a Bill in "the game." He and Cowher both, won't EVER give us anything. All we can do is at least WIN to get away from Tasker. Until we do, it's the "bottom of the barrell" announcers continually.

That's not entirely true. Cowher gave us some respect in the first two or three weeks of the season, but after the game everyone was all over the Brown's nuts.

Man after the Brown's last interception it sounded like one of the announcers had an orgasm. It was ridiculous.

...it was after those two or three weeks that on the pregame show he SHUT DOWN one of the other guys for remarking we were somebody to contend with. I think it was Sharpe who tried to give us some good words-- and it was him who shut us down. ANYWAY, won't argue the fact. A loss is just that, and AGAIN-- we should expect to be treated as the laughing stock this week.

Did we watch the same game? I heard the change of voice inflection when Cleveland made a play, but I heard the same thing when Houston made one, as well; The reason you think they were biased toward Cleveland is that Houston just didn't make that many plays.
IMHO, Tasker was way off with all his praise of the Texans D-Line, and if you want to talk orgasm, I though he was about to explode when Mario got his sack. They both were more than fair when the refs missed the call on Alexander's forward pass past the LOS, but I will concede that the manlove was in overdrive for McDonald... the kid did deserve it, though, and his play did make for a great story. 'Dre and Schaub should both be ashamed.
An announcers job is to make the game interesting and fill in dead space - I don't hear any complaints when we win. Grow up, people.

I didn't get a chance to see it, I was driving home today, but being a Browns fan has its ups and downs with announcers... just seems they like us cause we are winning now. But last year when we played the Ravens on Sunday night Joe Theisman was bashing us hardcore and was practically giving Ray Lewis a BJ.
I feel your pain and your day will come.

Tasker is horrible. I cut the sound off several different times so I wouldn't break my television. I can't stand when he announces the Texans games. Very biased against Houston.

i rather enjoyed it..they were happy for the better team...the exciting team...not a team of losers with pathetic fans...we support our team even after years of abuse and that abuse was misdirected at us...all along browns fans have been there and then they stole our team in 99...since then it has never stopped the constant ridicule after a historic franchise was stolen and left with a pile of crap...ad you, houston supposed fans so quickly are willing to bury your team and throw them away?...you should be ashamed of yourselves...imagine if your team was the cardinals?...then you would have something to cry about they really are pathetic..i truly thought cleveland would struggle against houston and i think houston is an equal matchup vs. the browns and without your injuries this year i think you would be a force big time so don't quit on them...schlob is dam good and your reivers are dam good, and dayne rocks...except for your injuries you would be in the thick of it...your team has a hell of a future coming but not this year...it did feel really good to humiliate you fools after all the b.s. you all talked...go away losers and learn how to win...:)))

I guess it's time to wait yet another year for something to improve but I doubt it. It always starts out good and by the end of the year, we look like crap. Always a losing season. Not once at the end of a season did we break even. To me, that's not acceptable.
Tell you what. If I were on that team for 6 straight years and all we do is lose, I would not renew my contract with them. I'd go find another team with a winning attitude. Just like what Moss did when he went to New England after two or so losing seasons with the Raiders of which are still losers as of now.
By that logic you would've found another message board by now too. I guess you're a glutten for punishment but I'm still hoping.

At first I was going to compliment you on a nice victory & then thank you for realizing what most posters realize on this board about the Texans improving. But after reading the last part of your post I realized you fit in nicely with the others that come here only on game day hoping for a loss so you can say I told you so. Why contradict yourself, it seems rather childish.

me for announcer!
reasons why:
a-i wouldn't say the name, or position of a person if i didn't know what i was talking about!
b-i need that kind of money!
c-if there were a name i was assured i would have to repeatedly pronounce, i would ask someone who knew how to pronounce it!

e-saying what just happened isn't calling a game. that's saying what just happened. i'm not the most heady football fan here, but i'll provide insight as to why something happened the way it did every now and again...
...alright KJ3-- get in there. You're up Sunday at noon in Tennessee. :)

I don't know who it was in the booth, but he was literally cheering for the Browns all game. Pathetic. As far as remarks, missed calls, and etc. I can't defend them. As far as being or not being tools I can't defend them. BUT enthusiasm is Gus Johnsons m.o., he wasn't cheering for the Browns or Us. He gets into it and makes excited play calls for both teams and there is nothing wrong with that. And as far as announcers go what CBS TEAM do you think is good(none imo)?
