I was listining to his press confrence and it just made me wonder something when he said for the past week I have been so excitecd, I like Sherman and I do think he will do a good job in aggieland but it made me wonder if he was all that prepared for the Texans game. I hate even to bring this up bc so many of you will hate take this way out of line but I mean I thought I would share my thought on it. Im not saying it was his, Schaub or any ones fault. All im wondering is if any of you think it is possible that Sherman got wraped up mentally with all the other things going on that he lost his train of thought or that he could not concentrate last week game plan wise? Now dont any of you call him a piece of blah blah blah just keep it simple and give me your thoughts.

I think that situation comes up in College and the Pros (both ways). I don't think Sherman would allow that to happen. My .02

I think that there are so many guys involved in the offensive game plan, including Kubiak, Sherman and Shanahan, that even if Sherman was distracted it wouldn't have made a big difference.

My thoughts exactly. Besides, if he was distracted there's no way it had any influence on the turnovers we had......

I am a student worker on the staff at texas a&m, and I can say I am looking foward to working for him. He took a pay cut just to bring in better coordinators, and he has so far shown he is a class act. He cares about winning more than money.
With that I believe he wants to wear wherever he is... I will say I think it was a distraction, Bill Byrne didn't contact Sherman until after the aggie win on friday. Sherman distracted saturday and sunday doesn't really affect that weeks preparation. Our loss had nothing to do with coaching on sunday either. We need to learn how to not turn the ball over so much.

Sherman's a professional. I don't think he would let anything distract him from coaching.

I agree
Not trying to hack anyone but what was with the sweeps with Dayne, that was a bit of foolishiness on someones part.

IDK - sweeps and Dayne do NOT go in the same sentence. He is a hard, between the tackles runner. Sweeps are not for him - now. Thats why we need am outside runner. I wonder if Joe E can fit the bill?

I hope Coach Sherman can turn the Ags around ( the same way Coach Brown did for Texas).
