Sunday is done. We lost. Movin' on to this weekend. The Tacks and V.Y. IS playing. I don't give a crap what happen against the Browns, we can win this game. The Titans have fell apart way worse than us and I think this would be a good redemption game. Go into Tenn. and get a victory. BTW my lil' bro. and I will be at Vito's on 45 if anyone wants to join us. $6.00 pitchers. Go TEXANS!!! I'll have a battle-red A.J. jersey on so holler at ya boy!!

Titans are doable. This team should be hungry to gain back some of the respect they lost after the Browns game. I look to this one like the Saints game. Lets see if we get any hype this week over VY.:)

That and a few Bennett int's would be nice. I would also like to see Wynn return one. You kow through all the PR/KR stuff with JJ and Mathis he has been a solid returner for us.At this point & time I want to see anyone return one. Wynn has been solid. At the start of the season I was really excited about special teams.Seemed we were going to have a big advantage over other teams in this area. But as it seems to have been all year, the injury bug reared it's ugly head .Enuff said.:(

The bug has been something. I don't know, I just got that feeling about this game man. I just feel good about this one.Titans are freefalling, Vince fallout(no offense) Texans will be hungry again. I feel the Browns game brought them back down to earth. Freakin highlights from the game on tv.:(

Part of this week will depend on if Haynesworth is playing. If not, life will be a hell of a lot easier running this week. Also, we've got to get pressure on the QB this week!! The more errant throws we force, the better.

You got to look at the other side. This is the Titans homecoming/redemption game from losing to the Bengals. With their crowd behind the team in their own backyard, these Titans are coming with some fire. We know VY doesn't have anyone to throw to but I'm sure they can get the Refs on their side too. I hope Shaub won't get hurt in this one w/ Haynesworth coming back off of IR.

If we can stop ourselves from turning the ball over, this game is ours for the taking. Of course if we hadn't turned to the ball over so much during our losing skid this year we would have a winning record right now. JMO!

Good Thread A-Bush. Now we need to hammer the Titans. They won't roll over in the 4th like before. I think that if they can run up the score, they will. We need to have a solid game on both sides of the ball as well as special teams.

What is the status of Haynesworth and Vanden Bosch? I saw him leave the bengals game and go to the locker room. This should be a better game with a healthy WR corps. On defense lets get back to basics tackle the RB and shed blockers. We can't over pursue on VY. DBs I wanna see some solid jamming at the line of scrimmage make these under talented guys really work to get off the line of scrimmage.

We need to score some TDs early this week to get the titans out of their game..

Dear Vince,

I know we hardly know each other but I am looking forward to meeting you soon. Your receivers are very nice guys...I don't know any of their names but I'm sure they are great. In case you don't recognize me when I get to Tennessee, I'll be the one returning those good awful passes to the opposite endzone on Sunday. Nice talkin' to ya.

See ya soon,

I think we can definately win on Sunday! The Titans were beatable last time, we just need to get our stuff together. I really think that when we are on we are capable of beating anyone. We almost beat the Colts also, and I do think we can acheive that in December. Jacksonville I am a little worried about, they are on fire. But if we have it together, we can put that fire out!

Last report I saw on Haynesworth had him listed as questionable, but a lot of people are speculating that he'll be able to go. If he does I hope he's not as effective considering a hammy problem can definitely slow a big guy down by reducing his ability to push off the line. Still, he's a monster against the run so if he plays I expect we'll have some trouble in that area.

Vanden Bosch's status is also unclear. Personally I hope both of them are out because their defense has proven to be much less potent when they both Haynesworth and Vanden Bosch miss time. If they can't go then I think we'll be able to move the ball consistently.

On the offensive side their running game has been struggling lately also. Neither Lendale White or Chris Brown have been very effective running the ball. I don't know if it's because they are allowing Young to throw more, or he's throwing more because they aren't running well. Either way it helps us that they aren't moving the ball on the ground the way they were earlier in the season because when Young passes more they lose. It helps that all of his receivers have stone hands.

I think defensively we should be able to contain them. Our defense has been playing better lately (when they're not required to be on the field for the entire game). Our secondary should be able to contain those bad receivers and force Young to use his legs more. That's been a big problem for us in the past but with Mario playing better it could make it harder for Young to make it around the edges (see Reggie Bush in the Saints game) and force him to try and run up the middle. If that happens I just pray for Meco to get a clean shot at him.......please!

On offense we can drive on anyone assuming we can hold on to the **** ball. I'm hoping to see a much better performance by Schaub this time out. The last game was his baptism to the AFC South. Now that he's had a taste of just how nasty our rival games get I hope he's determined to pay the Titans back for knocking him out of the game.

I said it before the N.O. game and I repeat it here... Mario has been carrying a couple of monkeys on his back, one named Reggie, the other named Vince. He did a pretty good job of dislodging the Reggie monkey and I suspect he is going to be just as motivated to do a number on the Vince monkey. Mr. Young, I expect Mario will be monkeying around next Sunday, but not in a way you are going to enjoy.

Our secondary is very beat up, but then Vince is not a great passing QB... this may not be a big factor next week.

Matt and AJ will have had more time to re-establish their timing, I think Dre will be a big factor and open up the game for the Dayne Train.

So, if all the fans chip in for some stick-em for any player that will be handling the ball I think we could very well take this one.

I think the key is Haynesworth. When he's in there, the Titans Defense is completely different than without him. Guy may have been a headcase in the past, but this season, he's been the straw that stirs the drink.

Good post Hydro,

This game will be different than the early season game. The run game isn't working for the Tac's that well and we'll be seeing VY instead of Kerry Collins. Anybody can say what they want but Collins and the defense were the strength of that game. I say we knock em on their @#$%. I hope Mario goes "WaterBoy" on Vince and makes him wet himself.

Yes you are right because Collins threw 0 TD passes too. Come on seriously? You think Collins is good? The truth is if it weren't for the 6 turnovers and great field position you gave us we wouldn't have beat you. Quite a few of those turnovers we got on your side of the field. We didn't even have to move the ball to score points. Our defense and receiver drops, and miscues have been killing us the last couple weeks. Vince actually has been doing his job. How else do you have 379 yards of offense by yourself and still lose????

I don't know what type of injury it was, but he's playing. the defense should be in tact with the exception of Hope. He's having "concussion like" symptoms. He's actually a gametime decision, but with the Titans those decisions usually mean he's not playing...

I've got a bet with one of my friends that the Texans will win the game. The loser has to pay for a Taste of Texas steak dinner. I'm feeling pretty confident.

The Titans came out on fire this season, but I knew they would tail off. VY is overrated. Their defense is good, but you can't rely on them to score all your points. VY seems to play up for the Texans game, but I still think the Texans come out on top tomorrow. Having AJ back should be the X-factor.

Vince will have to go for two because I hear he can't kick ;)I understand Bud is trying to clone 52 more Vinces. After all you don't need anyone else when Vince just wins.:D

Rest of the team should just be moved down to the practice squad, heck all they do is get in Vinces way.

What did the average Titan player get on his Wonderlic test?

Titans are doable. This team should be hungry to gain back some of the respect they lost after the Browns game. I look to this one like the Saints game. Lets see if we get any hype this week over VY.:)
I agree , this is a winnable game for The Texans.
What I like about the team now,is that they don't offer excuses for a crappy game, they come back the next week & pound some but.;)
