I've read somewhere a scout said Steve Slaton was the fastest guy he's ever seen in pads .

I like Ray Rice. I like the size, and power that he runs with and if you take him off Rutgers team, they would be a bad team.

On most days I would say Slaton is my favorite. Every once in a while, I would say McFadden is tied. They are both great athletes. We would be in a position to take Slaton before McFadden.

i like mcfadden. he's got the size and room to grow at 6'2 205-210lbs. he's definitely in the 4.4 range. he has good hands and he can do it all. not to mention he played in the SEC.
compared to slaton, both have speed and can catch the ball, but mcfadden is bigger and has played in the best conference in the country. if slaton was 210lbs, then more people would be on the slaton bandwagon, but at 5'10 195lbs, it scares off some people.

I watched slaton in highschool and he was doing the same stuff in high school as he is in college, the only thing that scares me bout him is that he played in a spread offense

I like Mike Hart, I am a Michigan fan and was going to play their till injury said no way. I have seen almost every carry he has had, and he is just a great mix of vision, power, size, speed and gets better as a game goes on.

I never remember his name(don't see many UoH games) but, the RB from UoH had a huge YPC average...any thoughts on him? Playing at UoH he maybe around in say the 3rd rd also, giving us the ability to get a prime need in rd 1(or 1&2) depending if we trade or something.

Steve Slayton is Ramonce Taylor.

Imagine Taylor in that scheme in that conference, with White at QB. He was productive and deadly with Vince Young, and the only thing that kept him from racking up more yards was that Texas had a hell of a lot more weapons than WVU.

I like Slayton but let's not oversell him.

Give me McFadden. Big kid, fast enough to take it outside, and gets big yards in a manly conference.

Slayton is the best IMO. I think Ray Rice is second place.
