Not much of a point to this thread, just that the game was incredible and I was elated while hanging around the boards and watching those arrows go back on the gamecast. The highlights were great to watch too. Either way, looking back on the game I decided to throw something together to remember the victory and figured I'd share it with my fellow Texans fans. Nothing all that special, just a dedication to the victory. Here it is:

Blood runs across the sky, the crimson clouds
Seek, search, stare down to the docile sea.
Power, intensity, and fury shrouds
The demonic, divine forces that be;
Nature’s wrath, scorn, spurn upon the blue earth.
Foundations fall fallow, the last tower
Stands, scans lost lands, shunning the shore and surf.
Oh Elements! Sons of Nature’s power!
Winds blow, howl, growl. Fires burn the green land;
Smoke engulfs the plains; ice pelts the stone walls.
A single shot sounds off. A sight so grand!
Heaven! Hell! None exist as the chain falls,
Freeing the sky as the clouds shake the ground;
The sea, the earth, and the tower head down
Down

It was 10 o clock on a Sunday, we didn't have a game, I had to hear a bunch of Eagles fans parade around about their triumphs over the Cowgirls since that game ended, and I got bored.

Oh, plus I didn't feel like studying for my last final Tuesday. So I figured I'd get a bit of writing done until Xavier comes on.
