its like we know we have the best football city in the best football state, and so do they, but if they tell everyone, they all get pissed, so they dont. that has to be it....... what else is it? it sucks havn 48 hater states out there (louisiana is cool) give us all state teams in each sport at every level and theres no stoping Texas. Basketball is the only sport they recognize for us and they have to cuz its the rockets, mavs, and spurs..... well our day will come..... our franchise is waaaay to good at evaluating talent to go un noticed for too long... I wish all the cowboy fans around the country could visit dallas, then maybe there wouldnt be so many.........

war the texans finally drafting some solid O line...........

Also, the other day when they were showing who was in the hunt for the AFC wildcard, they had us listed as Denver 7-7, Denver is 6-8....they switched the names around. This was on CBS after the fins won.

Just remember that the first letter in their acronym stands for:
E - Entertainment
S - Sports
P - Programing
N - Network

Entertainment is never accurate news.

I bet you some of those ESPN people are praying that Mario's recent performance is a fluke. And that Bush has some 100 yrd rush games left in him.

As it is they are already saying that it was the Chronicle and the fans that disrespected Mario Williams. No mention of their hate of Mario Williams after the draft and for almost 2 years of repeated hate towards him and the team's decision making.

ESPN is not going to admit to eating crow. But, my oh my, they are eating it with the feathers and beak intact. But, we here in Houston are the only ones taking notice.

Props to the guys who are recognizing Mario's talent over Vince and Reggie.

In their defense (and I have criticized them too) they did have alot of good things to say about Mario and they really did feel he got snubbed.

http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/columns/story?columnist=pasquarelli_len&id=3160443

Twenty months ago, on the evening in which the Houston Texans chose defensive end Mario Williams over tailback Reggie Bush with the first overall selection in the 2006 draft, I suggested the franchise should think about turning over such critical decisions to Mr. Magoo, who might actually demonstrate a little more foresight.

But on Tuesday night, with the taste of crow still fresh on my palate, I find myself wondering just who in the league, and in the voting public, are really the most nearsighted. Because during a year in which Blooper Mario has transformed into Super Mario, collecting the second-most sacks (13) in the league, the Texans' second-year end ranks among the most notable Pro Bowl oversights.

But in contract negotiations, teams generically refer to Pro Bowl selections as honors for a reason. And while some players come up with reasons to eschew appearing in the game, it still means something to win a Pro Bowl invitation. It certainly would've meant something to Williams' reputation to add Pro Bowler to his résumé, especially after a rookie season in which so many people, yours truly included, viewed him as a bust.

For the most part, the people who do the Pro Bowl voting get things right. This year, they got it wrong, especially as it pertains to Williams, who is coming off a dominant 3˝-sack performance in Thursday win over Denver.

That about sums up their depth of reporting. It doesn't surprise me.

And I also saw him listed as DeMarco Ryans.

I swear they do this ******* intentionally.

Ohh.. Off topic. Last season during preseason they were showing Reggiie Bush highlights and out of the blue one of them asked, "How many wins do the Texans get" and he replied, "Uh, 12.. in the next 2 yrs."

Haha we got 13 so far, take that espn..:D

You don't get a 790 signal out in Katy?? I know you can stream it if you're around a computer, but if you're in the car i think you're SOL.

1560 has better programming and personalities IMO, but they have a weak night signal also.
