Did anyone get a glimpse of this reject league?? To show how much love they get, the first draft was held on channel 55 the Tube!!! Talk about some big time sports viewing there! Our team doesn't even have a name yet, but I'm voting that our team has the worst color scheme EVER!! Burnt Orange, Maroon and Grey!!!! Like Va.Tech but worse. They wanted to combine UT and A&M.

The draft is today. I think it's still going on. Eric Crouch isn't that bad of a pick. The first overall pick was someone named Zarah Ishrael from Troy. The second pick was Brian Randall from Va Tech. Comparatively, Crouch isn't a terrible pick. Former Texan BJ Symons is the starting QB by the way haha.

I agree!!! In fact The helmet is plain white with grey facemask. The logo is the state of texas with state flag in it(what a *********** surprise!) . Complete with a maroon, burnt orange, and grey uniform.

I'm not a Coogs fan but I remember them somewhat from back then. Was that when David klingler played and they scored like 90 ppg? Ok, I get what the main goal is of this league, Team Texas only gets Texas players, but one question: why was Team Texas able to draft a player from Nebraska with their first pick?

I have not read all posts, but let me be one to say that I look forward to this new league, even if it does not make it. I'm all for getting through the Texans off season. It would be a lot tougher without it. I can't stand baseball, and last week went to a Rockets game praying that they didn't go into overtime because my rear hurt and basketball sucks. Next time a friend invites, I'll pass. Go AAFL!
