That is the exact same odds as last year..oh well...I lost a grand this year, but I will place the same bet again soon.Place that bet you will win.I have been trying for years to lose the aforementioned in my first post and always seem to win everytime I put them up for collateral. ;)

I'm pretty sure the ONLY reason the Texans have longer odds to make the superbowl than the falcons, bronco's, or any other terrible team is the fact that we play in the AFC South where it's brutal and tough, and those teams play in like the AFC and NFC West where it's easy and the best teams in those divisions are still highly flawed.

It's just the breaks and it means we play in whats thought to be in a tough division, not that we are worse than those teams.

...way to fire man...

Gotta find the silver linings!

Trust me, I saw the odds yesterday and got all pissed thinking "What the hell teams that we beat badly are more favored to win the SB than us what in the - - - - " but then I actually took time to think about it.

Of course the Broncos are more likely to make the superbowl cause the Raiders and the Chiefs are still pretty well below average so that means they just have to compete with the Chargers.

We still have to compete with all of the teams from the South, not just the Colts.

We are 100:1 just like the Falcons, according to that link. Now the other team you mentioned is 50:1

Teams I think the Texans are better than, but less favored to win the SuperBowl:

Houston Texans: 100:1

St Louis Rams: 80:1
Buffalo Bills: 80:1
Baltimore Ravens: 60:1
New York Jets: 80:1
San Francisco 49ers: 50:1
Arizona Cardinals: 50:1
Detroit Lions: 50:1
Carolina Panthers: 50:1
Tampa Bay Buccaneers: 50:1
Denver Broncos: 40:1
New Orleans Saints: 25:1
Cincinnati Bengals: 28:1

But all of those teams play in weak divisions (Yes even the Bills and the Jets because the AFC East is garbage without the Pats). The list I had originally looked at had slightly different odds, but it was pretty much the same thing with a bunch of crappy teams with way better odds due to the fact that any one of 3 other teams could appear in their divisions (this goes for pretty much all of the divisions outisde of the NFC E and AFC S) and win it or get to the wildcard.

So if you bet 100 bucks you would get 10,000 bucks if the Texans won?

Not if it's 60:1 which is why I threw in my sarcasm...

100 to 1 thats it? at least that is lower than the odds of a cowboy fan having a good take. Or at least its lower than the likelihood that jerry jones finds his heart. 100 to 1 that is it? Shoot us Texans fans are used to going up against worse odds. We had David Carr and Dom capers right that put us 1000 to 1 odds. 100 to 1 no problem. We can put Vinny's house up for collateral right?

Would be sweet to win...you serious about going in? Chances are we lose our money, but hey....miracles can happen and that would make for one sweet prize. PM me if you get a chance and I can tell you where I place my bets.Hell just send your money to me and I'll place the wager.:D

So what do you think our chances are...20 to 1(my guess)...more like 100 to 1 or 60 to 1...So your saying there's a chance!!!

I definately would put up the ex-wife even at 50 to 1. But then, I sold her on EBAY a couple of months ago for $1.17, and 3 days later the buyer demanded a refund. (sigh)
