The area that needs the most help is the secondary. Bennett and safety C.C. Brown, a restricted free agent, are set at two positions. The others are wide open.

CC Brown firmly entrenched in the starting position? WTF!!! Brown is a free agent, not even under contract. He is a big reason why the secondary has been so bad these past few seasons, I cant believe that he gets a guaranteed spot over Demps, that is bull****. Hopefully this is the writer's opinion and does not reflect the feelings of the Texans coaching staff and front office...

This is due to the fact that he is a restricted free agent, the texans will extend him a 1 year contract. If he signs with an other team the texans would then get a draft pick equal to the tenure equivalent to the contract. The more they offer him, the higher the draft pick. So unless a team is willin to give us a 2nd or 3rd round pick for him, CC Brown will be with the texans next year. And yes right now he is above Will Demps on the depth chart to start, because Will Demps IS A FREE AGENT, AND THUS MIGHT SIGN WITH SOMEONE ELSE. Who knows where Demps will be, and when/if he is back with the Texans he will probably start.
