Suggs from Baltimore, but there is conversory. Ravens says Suggs is OLB so he gets, 8.056 million while Suggs says he played more than half of the snaps at DE which would give him about an 800000 dolla raise.

TRUFANT GETS FRANCHISED

With the deadline for applying the franchise tag less than 24 hours away, more and more teams are using it.

Adam Schefter of NFL Network reports that the Seahawks have applied the franchise tag to cornerback Marcus Trufant.

The placement of the tag on Trufant and Raiders cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha means that Pats cornerback Asante Samuel will be the biggest prize at the cornerback position when free agency opens on February 29.



Crap, I wanted the Texans to go after him....forget that.

The only thing this does is reduce the pool that other teams that are looking for a CB would draw from, thereby reducing the possibility of us getting a fairly good one like Gay.
