Okay, so this kid is rising up the draft boards and hope that he will still be there at number 18 because I think he will be an "elite" corner with a few years of NFL experience in him. His combination of size and speed is remarkable and he has great ball skills too!

For those that don't mind a little reading this was a good article (http://boards.houstontexans.com/Dominqiue Rodgers-Cromartie) I found on him.

Play the kid, they told Reed, and the Tigers defensive coordinator did just that in the season opener, though he feared Rodgers-Cromartie, who weighed only 155 pounds at the time, would be overmatched.
He wasn't.
Rodgers-Cromartie handled himself well enough to start at cornerback the next week.
Wouldn't you know it? He was burned on the first pass of the game. Then he dropped a sure interception. Then he dropped another.
But in the fourth quarter, with the game in the balance, Rodgers-Cromartie picked off a pass and returned it for the victory-clinching touchdown.

I like him a lot. He has everything you could ask for in a corner. His only weaknesses are his size (170 lbs) and the level of competition he played against, but that's not looking like such a big deal since he dominated at the Senior Bowl. He is likely going to have great numbers at the combine and end up being picked before us. If he's there at 18, you have to think he'd be the best option.

If he's there at 18, you have to think he'd be the best option.From what I have found out about him it seems he has the making of a shutdown corner.If they take him I would not be upset.

My favorite player that could be there @ 18. He's going to be a star.
