Hey guys,

I have been pushing for Forte in a few different posts over the past few months and just wanted to reiterate that. He rushed for over 2000 yards last season and is holding his own in the combine. If we go after a RB in the late rounds, who would you pick?

I would take him if he is there in the 4th RD. Other priorities rate higher for 3rd and 1st rds.

1. Derrick Harvey/Mike Jenkins/Aquib Talib/ Dominque Rogers-Cromartie

3. Patrick Lee/Quentin Demps

4. Matt Forte/Chris Ellis

Much could change with FA signings.

This guy is a stud but like everyone says he'll be gone by our 3rd. I would go with k. Smith or Forte if one of these 2 were there at our pick in yhe 3rd. Is it me or doesn't K Smith have a build similar to Terelle Davis?

I think Rice could be there by our 3rd rounder. He definitely would be a decent pick for a ZBS team.

If it's Round 3, Kevin Smith and Ray Rice look real appealing. Smith has a good size/speed combination and was built for the ZBS. His patience is keen and allows him to make the right decisions. Rice is as tough as they come despite his size. After this combine, he showed that he can fly and cut on a dime. He may not be able to break the long run, but will punish somebody who tries to take him down. If it's the 4th round, Tashard Choice comes to mind. He's got good size, decent speed, but amazing vision. He's another smart runner who rarely goes down on initial contact. He also is very shifty and can make people miss in the open field. He's another guy who won't be a homerun threat, but will give people problems on long runs.

yeah if we can't get mendenhall or stewart in the first round, then I say get kevin smith. Everybody says he is the next Barry Sanders and I have seen some of his work which is awesome none the less.
