As usual, I get my info from draftdaddy.com and their draft blog. This is from CNNSI.com and their Pro Day risers and fallers.

David Roach, Safety -- TCU

The TCU safety rested on his combine times but stood out in the position drills. Scouts on-hand said Roach turned in one of the most impressive safety workouts they had ever witnessed. He is now being given consideration at cornerback, and a number of teams came away thinking this one-time middle-round choice could slide into the third round.

Tracy Porter, CB -- Indiana

The Hoosier cornerback was considerably faster during his pro-day workout. He clocked 4.45 seconds in the RCA Dome, but some watches had Porter as fast as 4.33 seconds in Bloomington.

I also read on the same site that Kenny Phillips has hired Drew Rosenhaus...barf.

If this is true, I suspect a lot of teams will think real hard before looking at him.

The other kids look like nice 3-4th-5th round possibilities.

Yeah....Phillips would be a welcome first rounder in my eyes, but if his agent is going to want to hold out and renegotiate every offseason, I wouldn't mind seeing him go somewhere else. The TCU kid is appealing because seemingly if teams are eyeing him as a S or CB, he's probably pretty decent in coverage, which we can always use.

honestly, i think the third best corner behind Talib and McKelvin is

DOMINIQUE RODGERS - CROMARTIE, TENNESSEE STATE (D-1AA) he is 6'2 and runs a 4.3 ----BEAST

DRC is one of my favorite players this year... but that kinda makes me question him... Sure he is big and fast, but can he cover Wayne, Harrison, or even now with porter and Speedy williamson around...

Orlando Scandrick CB 5'1" 190 BOISE STATE Wow even Maurice Jones Drew can use his height advantage to catch passes against this guy. Why would this guy even consider an NFL career

One of my favorite CB's in the 3rd round is Justin King out of Penn State.

I did not like this guy in the penn state games I watched he played too far off and got burned on more than 1 occasion.

If you want a sleeper at CB in this Draft, look up Antuan Molden. He will be there in the 4th round, and he may have an upside similar to DRC.

Coach Hoke mentioned him in his interview. Said he had a good combine. His numbers were impressive. See what he does at the Eastern Kentucky pro day.
