I got a quick question too.....why o why do the Patriots get to pick so early in the first round? Seems like favoritism to me.

Since NE knew they already loaded up with Moss, Welker and Stallworth and Adalius Thomas they knew they didn't have any real pressing needs while already having two first round choices. They traded their first selection to San Fran so they could pick up OT Joe Staley, in return the Pats got the 49ers first rounder this year. They chose Brandon Marriweather (spell?) with their second selection. And since the 49ers decided to suck it up this year it gives NE a high draft choice.
