Looking at Green Bays Depth chart at QB. Rodgers, Brohm and ???? They have to make a move for a vet. We already have a rapport with GB in regards to trades. GB has a 3rd and 3 4th rounders. What if we got a 3rd and 4th???? Talking heads are saying they need to bring on a vet. I don't think they want Brohm playing this year at all.
3 3rd rounders!!!!
2 4th rounders!!!!
Come on Smith pull the trigger!!!

No, and no.
I was okay with us trading Sage for a 2nd. Now - no way. We recovered two picks when we traded down, I don't think we need more draft picks. We have just as many as we need, now.
In your scenario, we'd just be trading Sage for bodies, whereas for a second-rounder, we'd be getting a player that would have likely been an immediate starter for us in a need position.
Great depth at QB > more warm bodies when we already still have six more draft picks.

I don't think a team like Gb will need another QB or even a Vet like Rosenfels since the y have Rodgers who knows their system and been in the shadow of one of the greatest QB's to live. If there is any teams it most likely be teams like KC, Chi, Bal, and Atl.

I disagree with you here. Green Bay has openly come out and said they don't think Rodgers is the guy (supported by them drafting Brohm). Bringing in Sage would make sense for them.
As for the 'warm bodies' comment, how can you say that? We need quality depth right now, and with the talent that will be out there in the 3rd/4th Rounds we could get somebody that fills a need depth-wise for us and can really turn into a good player.
In addition, I really don't think we signed Quinn Gray for nothing.

plus we have Shane Boyd who is a pretty good backup as well.

I agree...and have been saying the same thing about Gray for weeks now.

You don't pick brohm and then trade your third and fourth picks for sage. Ted thompson loves picks and he won't let them go.

I still love the thought of Sage and for John Beck from the Dolphins but they would have to give up more than that.
