I would say Caleb Campbell S/Army but after leaping on Barber in the 6th it's highly unlikely.

Patrick Allen RB/OU maybe?

A.Alridge WR/UH is still there also...............several guys I wouldn't mind seeing............should be another decent guy......

No DE so far..........Maybe Blake here?

At this point, best player available, but DE would make some sense.

Josh Barrett?

I liked what Jamie Silva brought to the table at BC. Big hitter with a nose for the ball on defense and special teams. Seems like a perfect 7th round pickup.

yea except we just picked up a safety in the 6th. DE is a must, darrell robertson make it happen

Barber was not a leap at pick 173.

Another guy that might make sense.......D.Lokey DL/Texas......I think he will be a great DE if he sheds a few pounds.........but he could also help push Okam ......I seriously doubt he will be the pick........

But again there are a ton of DE's out there.....

Alex Brink QB/Wash. St.
I had us taking him with our 7th in my first mock. I think the guy is going to be something special with some coaching.........he is exactly the type of guy that we want to groom for our future.

Ok. This one has me scratching my head. Are we trying to compete with Gruden or something?

I guess we needed a guy to lead the practice squad.

Maybe this guy can develop into something but there are alot of quality players players on the board at positions of need.

Erin Henderson
Ali Highsmith

This was a wasted pick.

As are most in the 7th round.

not an excuse for picking a QB over Ali Highsmith who could easily be a second team LB on this team behind Greenwood or Diles/Adibi

Yeah, I'm not sure what there is to be that agitated about. Teams take a shot on guys who may have been overlooked for whatever reason. Maybe Kubes and/or Smith saw something they liked and took a flyer on him. The franchise isn't exactly in the balance with that pick.

There was no reason to take a QB since our FO's been saying that Matts the man. We've got plenty of backups. If we're going to take a shot on someone in the 7th, why not a position of need?

Sage gets traded for a 2009 draft pick and Gray is 2nd and 7th round pick= Practice Squad/Third string. Just a thought, I don't see the Texans carrying 3 QB's on the active roster. Maybe some teams didn't want to part with picks in this years draft for Sage but are willing to give up a 2nd in the 2009 draft.

Didn't Gray sign just for a year? Isn't Sage under contract for this season and next?

Sounds like we're covering bases for two years away instead of this year. Let him develop on the Practice Squad and see where he is at this time next year.
