In '06 6 of 7 of the draft class started opening day, last year only one started. How many and who will start on opening day this year?

Which rookies will start? Do you mean the first game... ? Or just sometime through the season become the starter. If it is the first game I'd say Adibi and possibly Antwaun Molden... if you mean by the end of the season having started ... I'd say everyone of them except for Brink and Barber would have started a game or two. Even Frank Okam might start some because I think the Texans are going to be experimental with their d line and will put some players in positions they don't normally play in an attempt to improve their run defense in certain situations and against certain teams... Depending on the team and the type of run game they play you could see Okam and Johnson in the middle and Okoye lined up at DE some.

I don't know about game one but sometime in the season I think, Molden, Brown and Slaton will be starters with a outside chance of Adibi. I think Molden is the game one starter opposite fred.

I don't see Brown starting for at least the first 4 games. The best chance would be probably Adibi. Depending on how good their TC and PS is, I'd also say Moulden as well.

I doubt any actually start game one, but Adibi and Moulden will probably play.

I think Duane Brown will be 2nd string until at least week 6. I think Adibi, Moulden, and Okam will be starters. I think Frank Okam will start because he gives the Texans a presence in the middle of the DL that the Texans don't have against the run. Okoye is too small to occupy multiple blockers and Travis is...well....lets just say that Okam's presence at DT will be better than TJ's in my opinion. Okam will require multiple blockers.

When is our BYE week because I think if Brown doesn't start the season at LT that is when he will be inserted. They may start him at LT if he proves to be the best available option in camp. They have already shown in the past this staff is not afraid to start rookies right away. Just depends on the players work ethic and position. I also think Molden has a chance to open the season at Corner. Its too early to tell.

I think atleast 3 will be starters by years end. With Okam being a situational sub.

I think you hit the nail on the head with that one. Brown should at the very least be inserted right before or right after our by week since he was hand picked by Gibbs. I think Okam will become an automatic rotational player and Molden will find himself in a simular situation as Bennett did last year and become starting material by mid season. Slaton will become our 3rd down back as advertised until his game speaks for itself.

Brown and Adibi will start week one. Molden will start as the nickelback and eventually pass Reeves in the depth chart.

with all due respect i dont think brown will start for a few games..hes had like 12 games of his career at LT unless we move Winston to LT and Brown to RT i dont see brown starting for a few games. he will most def. get playing time early but he wont officialy start till week 4-6..just what i think

Kubiak just said on 790 that Duane Brown is the starting left tackle. No big surprise 1st round picks usually start from day one.

Just look how much the conversation around here is changing compared to say, 2005. We have a list of legitimate YOUNG players who based on talent alone can challenge some decent players for starting time. You've not been able to say that much about this franchsie.

The sky's the limit. Just wait until next year when we're in even better cap shape and will have a second round pick to go with the others.

The only rookie who is going to start week 1 is going to be Brown. Molden will be a nickel or dime guy, so if you wanna count that as starting then i guess that works. Adibi has an outside shot but i'm guessing that job is gonna go to Diles. It's his to lose at this point IMO. I think that Brown will be the only starter week 1.

I believe that Diles is the #1 SLB, and Adibi will be going against Greenwood for the WLB position.

Adibi is nominally on the depth chart behind Greenwood but if he displays ability like Ryans did he will compete for the SLB spot.

Molden will be nickleback untill Reeves proves he can't start.
Adibi I hope beats out Diles for StrongSide linebacker
Okam will be back up to T.Johnson, but will over take him by week 6
Brown will be backup at LT till week 3 then he will start
Slaton will be our 3rd Down Back and could possibly move into the starters role if Green gets hurt and Brown doesn't produce.

How in the heck can X-man compete for the (SAM) when he is only 219 lbs.? He may replace Greenwood (WILL) on passing downs, that's all I can see at this time.

I would also like to say Frank Okam, but we will just have to wait and see on that one.

The only rookie that is likely to start is Duane Brown, but only if he puts it all together during camp. They aren't going to risk Matt when they have Ephraim available to play while Duane Brown gets up to speed.
